Next time you go to a pool party and use the washroom, look at that the top of the toilet water tank thing.

People get stuff in all the time.

I can't imagine putting anything that touched a las vegas toilet into my body.

A guy in a cabana beside us hit a weed pipe, security smelled it, called the cops, and he was taken out by the Sheriff in handcuffs.

It's funny that they are MILITANT about the drugs, but seem to be ok with every other hot girl in a bikini being a prostitute.
Prostitution is legal in Nevada.

In isolated rural areas. Not in Vegas.

Putting on tinfoil hat here.....but we have an arena being built, league contemplating expansion which has all kinds of benefits to Vegas, and NHL braintrust in town for awards....and suddenly Stoll's charges get reduced.

Katie Strang @KatieStrangESPN
Two misdemeanors for Stoll: 1) provoking commission of breach of peace and 2) trespass. 120 days to complete 32 hrs of community service

Katie Strang @KatieStrangESPN
Stoll will be doing community service with Salvation Army and will be organizing hockey program for at-risk youths in Las Vegas area

Rich people who commit non violent crimes rarely get punished to the full extent. I wouldn't call this a conspiracy, just another rich party goer with a good lawyer.

This story did not make mainstream non-sports news anywhere.

First strike offender that is a contributing member of society was caught with a small (relatively speaking) amount of drugs with no intent to distribute... Also, formal drug charges would stop him from being able to perform his job.

It's not crazy that even if he wasn't rich, he'd get the same treatment.

Even in the States, it's not a judges job to ruin lives.

I've been there too back when I used to partake in those kinds things. It wasn't too long after asking a bunch of staff where to get some stuff, that one of the ''promoters'' came out to us and offered us some blow.

I'm sure they like to put on the face of being hard on drugs and cooperating with cops. But truthfully many of their staff are selling the stuff (often the stuff they confiscate) and what better way to ensure they make top dollar then to make sure no outside source makes their way in.

Happens in almost all major nightclubs around the world, especially in Vegas. Even the clubs here in Calgary had a good run doing that stuff before they got shut down.

Also not surprised at Stoll's charges being tossed. Multimillionaire busted for a felony that would send any normal civilian to prison? Not when you have money and can lawyer up!

I've heard Hotel Concierges are the best people to buy drugs from in Vegas.

Based off his voice, he probably only has downers.

No intent to distribute??? No one brings an eight ball of coke and 8 grams ecstasy to a pool party and is keeping it all to himself. Doesn't matter if he profits from it or not, there is definitely an intent distribute. New spin on taking one for the team.
