Wow. Sean Chu's is dumb, nonsensical and out of nowhere. But his staffer's is just plain terrible. What an awful person.
People new to social media (ie, everyone): Unless you are a comedian, keep your completely off-color jokes in private rooms with your friends.

Kent Hehr says he's not offended in the slightest, that he found it funny, particularly as he and Dustin are friends. But given Chu's antics, it was probably a very poor time to be joking around, unfortunately.

Yeah it's a decently funny joke, and if someone said it while having beers with some buddies it would probably get good laughs, even from Hehr himself. It's great that he takes it that way.
But no one knows context in social media. It's not the place for off-color/dark-humor jokes, unless you want to get bombarded. I'm just surprised people haven't realized this yet, especially those in public service.

There are parts of the nonsense like above that irritate more than others.
Michael Sam did his career no favour by coming out. I don't think there is any doubt he dropped several rounds in the NFL draft as a result.
Like the man said at his press conference in Montreal the other day: I want publicity for making plays on the field, not for anything off.
I hope he has an excellent season/career.
