They've made the show. They're okay with being Underdog.

Rest Hiller, Monahan, Brodie, Huddler!Call up 4. Do not risk these players.
Play Johnny with Bennett only because the Calder race is so tight.

Potentially you would only have Bennett, Shore, (maybe Byron?) and Wotherspoon as guys who could give regulars a break on Saturday.
Flames can't all up anyone from Adirondack unless there is an emergency.

i would for sure!

updated idea, thinking Jooris might rest a bit:

Ferland - Granlund - Shore
Raymond - Bennett - Colborne
Bollig - Stajan - Jones
Gaudreau - Monahan - Jooris (PP / "4th line minutes")

Potter - Schlemko
Brodie - Engelland
Wotherspoon - Wideman

Thiessen (swap emergency recalls)

I'd definitely play Bennett and Wotherspoon, probably Shore as well, Ortio maybe. Yeah we still have an outside shot at 2nd but I doubt the Jets will be playing their A lineup either so let it play out with no regrets.

Wotherspoon absolutely plays. Potter fell down once every 45 seconds, for a total of 2:30 ice time. Great move by Hartley to staple him tonight

Would love to see Bennett & Spoon get in some playing timeI think it would be a nice reward to someone who worked so hard to get back (Bennett) and Spoon who has been a good soldier during call-ups

I hope Hiller gets a rest too and either Theissen or Ortio start. I'd like to see Bennett and Spooner both slot into the lineup.

Since our game will be done first, you don't want to give Van the option to relax and rest too many players. Let's beat the Jets and force Van to have to put in an effort to keep home ice.

Wotherspoon has to get a long look after Potter is given under 2:30 in the game.

Got to rest Hiller - our only healthy NHL goalie. However, you should rest Ortio too - give him a few more days of rehab before backing up for playoffs. Does the start go to Theissen? Can they reverse that emergency call-up for just the last game, then put Ortio back in for playoffs?
On D, it's tough to guess who will sit. Between Brodie, Russell and Wideman, one of them is probably playing with an injury so that one sits for Spoon.

Little more leeway with the forwards. I'd imagine Hudler and Gaudreau sit, as they play the most and are small/quick, therefore slightly more likely to suffer a freak injury. Again, maybe another forward is playing through something serious so he takes a seat.

Regardless, I'd imagine they'll rest all that they can.

I know no call-ups before Saturday, but are call-ups allowed after that? Assume Poirier, Wolf, probably Cundari are the next guys in line with several others deserving to get up.

I wouldn't be surprised at all if Theissen starts.
I really think Bennett and Wotherspoon get in, and everyone else who is heathy and been scratched in the last while.

Rest is needed more than home ice.

This may not even be possible, but any chance the Flames can recall McGrattan for the last game? I really don't want Byfuglien running around and pulling any BS...

You need to start Ortio to give him some action before the playoffs start. Get him ready in case Hiller gets hurt.

			I hope they rest-Hiller
 -Hudler
 -Brodie or Wideman or Russel

 Ortio will get the start.

Gaudreau- Monahan- Bennett would have me weak in the knees.
Plus you get 3rd/4th line minutes for Sam while "resting" Johnny and Monny.
