@Fan960Steinberg: No update on Ramo. Remains day-to-day with a lower body injury.

@Fan960Wills: Based on what I saw at practice and I'm Bob Hartley's response when I asked about line-up changes, I'm guessing #Flames stay status quo.

Pat Steinberg @Fan960Steinberg
Hartley says he doesn't foresee any lineup changes for tomorrow vs. Arizona. #Flames

I am fine with no changes, Bollig in particular looks best in the press box.

i like that positivity!
we've been the biggest pain in LA's arse all year too, actually shaping into a pretty decent rivalry moving forward.

I dont care if they dress an Orangutan or the Michelin Man, just win.

Make the playoffs. I've got a car flag that I've been dying to put up.

Not surprised Bennett's not playing but the 2nd line really does need to pick up their play. Colborne scored against the Oilers like he normally does but the line as a whole hasn't been that great of late and this team has started to depend on the first line more and more for offense as the season has progressed.

I knew there'd be people questioning this, but consider that Potter has been practicing with the team for pretty much half this season and has barely been in a game. He responded the other night by having a very solid overall game, pretty much flawless for a 3rd pairing d-man. I think Potter has earned the right to stay in the lineup, which is in keeping with this team's philosophy. It would really send the wrong message to either Schlemko or Potter to take them out of the lineup when they've been a very stabilizing force on the bottom pairing. In the event one of them has an awful game, you can then begin discussing the insertion of Wotherspoon in the lineup.

Pretty much the same goes for Bennett.

Hartley is sending a message not only to Bennett but also to the rest of the Flames team that currently sits in a playoff spot against all odds. In other words, he's rewarding the team for its hard work through 79 games and showing Bennett that he gets no special treatment because of his pedigree. Always earned, never given.

In 10 years we will all look back and laugh that Bennett was out of the line-up instead of pretty much anyone. As a fan, I desperately want top see Bennett fill in for Raymond on the 2nd line and on the 2nd PP unit. However, the kid is 18 years old and has never played in an NHL game.

I trust Hartley's decisions, 100%. He's a Jack Adams favourite. The rest of us are just fans.

I just hope that Bennett can handle being in the press box. I hope they aren't trying to change his game from what made him successful in junior.

Completely agree. These guys got us here, sure, maybe not in style or anything yet here we are.

And as much as we're all dying for the playoffs, the fact of the matter remains that this is all pure, sweet, golden gravy. If they miss out at the death they can remain confident in the fact that they as a group earned this.

Hartley rarely changes the line-up after a win. Anyone expecting changes was hoping more than thinking.

Molberg said this morning that he heard there were some "entitlement" issues with Wotherspoon and that is why they are not dressing him...

I'd say we got here in spite of Mason Raymond.

how different is this from other teams? Don't most top lines score around 25% of the total team offense?

Surprise surprise it's now coming up on 4 years since the 2011 draft and those prospects expect to be playing in the NHL.

It's not entitlement, it's called a short career window and early primes of elite athletes. This is why I cringe whenever I hear Treliving say "you can't simmer a prospect in the AHL for too long." Of course you can.
