Sure seems like it. Flames can't seem to catch a break on the OOT. So frustrating.

There's room for the reverse looking at this as well though. The Kings are 2-7 in the skills competition, the Flames are 4-2.

If the Kings had even gone 4-5 in the shootout they would occupy that playoff spot.

I'm think it's 3rd in the Pacific or bust for us, might as well have Vancouver hang around and maybe we could snag home ice from them.

Vancouver for me. Winnipeg loses, and they're on the same pace as Calgary, with Flames having the tie breaker. At this point, I have no problems being a flag waving Nucks fan, especially if they can win in regulation against the Jets and Kings.

Probably Vancouver, but as long as it's not a 3 point game I don't really care.

5-4-0 gets us to 96 points.
Lets beat Dallas Wednesday to finish the homestand 3-1-1, then go 3-2 if possible (or better) on the roadtrip.

Then take care of Arizona at home. That's 5 wins, and we can always make things easier by beating LA and/or Winnipeg to end the season.

LETS GO RANGERS, clap clap clap clap clap. LETS GO RANGERS!!

I hear you, but it's pretty much been proven over the last while that the strength of the opponent is almost irrelevant. Good teams have been losing to inferior teams based on standings at about a 50% clip so it's probably a better bet to not even take schedule into consideration and just hope that Calgary can match LA's record from here on out.

I think its beyond the time to be concerned about trends in games right now. Who cares if the Avs looked faster or played better. The Flames are in this fight because they deserve to be. A win is a win this time of the year, no matter how you do it.
Only thing is the head scratch worthy reffing. Offiside? Too many men? Hooks called one way and not the other. I don't subscribe to conspiracy theories, but holy crap.

If Wild the win out all their games (except for the one against the Flames), and the Nucks do they same, Flames are pretty much in. At this point, I'm cheering for the Canucks and Wild when they play the Jets and Kings.
