Youtube would have to build another data center to hold a video that long.

exactly, its like they think he is taking them away from someone else lol
players with better hands are welcome to get break away's at any time

There's no way Sven is worse than Raymond, no way.

It's not like Monahan cashes in on all his chances and he does get a lot of chances compared to say Byron. Like I said before your best players have to come through or you aren't going to win as tonight highlights. What about Brodie wasting those point blank chances at the end of the game? So many Flames just didn't come through tonight.

Its funny how this is one of the teams the Flames "have to beat" when they are miles ahead of calgary in terms of building their franchise
|
Maybe that's because they don't have Mason Raymond, and Deryk Engelland.
Sorry Brad Treliving, but these guys did not earn their roster spots. They were gifted them and that's not good for the development of guys like Baertschi and Wotherspoon who have to know they're already better watching this up in the pressbox.
Right now this has become a one-line team with Gaudreau-Monahan-Hudler. The other 45 minutes of the game are a case of just waiting for the main line to come back on. That's not on Stajan, Jooris, Backlund, or Colborne. It's on the guys dragging their line down. Guys on 3 mil / 3yr contracts.
It's on Hartley to play Hiller, Sven, Tyler, and Wolf next game. If Ramo gets in because Hiller lost, and Raymond and Engellend and Bollig all slot in next game, and then we win anyways because they're the Oilers, that'll be B.S.

Invalid argument

No idea what kind of argument you're reading from my comment but seeing as people were hoping that Byron scored, wouldn't it make sense to have more confidence/disappointment that our trust top 6 forward/Mr. Clutch missed? Especially since he's the one with the better skill set, pedigree, etc.
Don't get me wrong, I let out a long sigh when Byron got a breakaway and an even longer when Dubnyk inevitably saved it but weird to be giving him so much flack for a 4th liner over one specific play when the rest of the team is in the same boat for missing their chances.

By the way no is saying that if Sven is replaced with Byron he will end up getting on multiple breakaways and score on all of them, maybe he can bump Bouma down a line and play in the top 6 and maybe make more of an impact that Byron has offensively.

3 Things:
-Another corsi win/real loss. Boo. Played good enough to win but couldn't bury one despite some good chances
-the amount of whining about calling it a "must win" is more annoying than calling it a "must win"
-Byron needs some confidence. Elsewhere. Love the hustle and the try
-seemed like Gio and Brodie were on the ice for all of the Wild's chances
Edit: counting is for losers

Paul Byron is only 25 . Still young enough to learn how to bury those chances.

25 is typically a players peak age. He's going to get worse, not better.

Yeah, I'm not saying the other players besides Byron bury all their chances just that Byron misses on a very large amount, more than any other. I'm not blaming the loss on him but it would be nice if he had the scoring touch of even a Krystof Oliwa at this point.

He is not a terrible player tho is my point.
Example: even Anze kopitar only had 10 goals when he was 25 But he did have 32 assist.

That has been a common theme for a few games now. I think they'll be fine, but they seem to be trying to be too fancy in their own end. They need to get back to playing simple, they're trying to do too much.

A lot of negative posts. If you told me at the beginning of the season that we would be fighting for a playoff spot at the middle of the season. I would take it that in heart beat. Go Flames! You're doing us proud. A little set back but no worries. Win the next game!

Because sometimes your bottom 6 guys have to chip in with a few goals when you're top players haven't scored in a game. Something Byron can't do therefor he should be replaced. Same goes with bollig, stajan and Raymond

Yeah it sucks that Byron isn't cashing in on those chances and in a way he's kind of like Paul Ranheim all over again for the Flames. Certainly if he was ever going to come through tonight would have been a great time but give Dubnyk credit he kind of flashed the five hole then closed it fast.
