Couldn't agree more. Darth Vader is dead, Palpatine is dead. No need to explain anything about them.
They've got stormtroopers, Luke, Leia, Han Solo, Chewbacca, the universe, lightsabers, speeders and whatnot. Make a good story with the characters and the setting, don't try to erase mistakes, just make a good movie and ignore the mistakes from before.
And Abrams is decent at that.

So apparently someone who has predicted almost everything in the movie that has been revealed up to this point released even more spoilers, this time very detailed and they WILL ruin plot points in the movie for you. Like... very specific.

Meh, there's absolutely nothing concrete in those spoilers. They seem more like vague directions like pointing fingers in the dark while whispering "go over there, the truth is over there....somewhere"
