Gaudreau had a fair amount of misplays, but he did set up the game tying tally. 3rd period was a strong one I suppose. But even though he has points in the last two, I still think he can be better. Passes can be cripser. Plays can be smarter.

I'm a Ramo fan, but he's fighting the puck, looks uncomfortable.
They should give him 2 more games and he'll be fine.

Just got home, damn that was fun. Aside from the dimwits next to us that left with 4 mins left the crowd was just pumped tonight. So loud, so many high fives.
Nights like tonight are why I kept my tickets through the less fun years. No better feeling than when the team is winning and the crowd believes.

A wire-to-wire win on Tuesday would be perfection.

True, but my point was even if Hall where the best winger in the league playing a 200' game, I don't think he alone could overcome the fact that the Oilers have 1 center that could play on the top 3 lines of any other team in the league, sub par depth wingers, not a single dman who could be a regular top4 on the 29th ranked D in the league, and 2 back up goaltenders.

He looked great tonight, honestly don't know what he could have done on any of the goals. Flames defensive coverage tonight was horrible.
First goal was a bad read and a great play by Elias and a quick shot by Henrique. Zero chance for Ramo.
Second goal Cammalleri was all alone at the side of the net and got a pass from Jagr. Cammalleri doesn't miss from there.
Third goal was another defensive breakdown and he made a great first save and Zajac had an empty net to shoot at.
Fourth goal was a 2 on 1 and Giordano took out Ramo.
Again, zero chance on any of the goals.
I thought he was way above average in the game.

That was such a fun game to be at. The dome was electric at the finish - despite the thousands of dummies who left with 5 minutes left.

The crowd sounded great tonight. Still in to it with a few minutes left. Thought it was great on the TV.

Just when you think the Flames are done for the night, they just surprise the heck out of you. Loving this team. Giordano and Brodie tandem had a little of adventure all night but at the end they just showed those are just hiccups. It seems like the Devils are taking advantages of the bounces. I don't think i can blame Ramo on any of NJ's goals. Cammy's goal in particular was tough to save. Jagr made a great play on that vintage Cammalleri's goal. We've seen that type of goals from Cammy over and over. Karri Ramo deserves the start next game the way he played tonight. 2 goals with Ramo on the bench was awesome then winning the shootout was a great bonus.

Flames score 2 goals with the goalie pulled and then win in a shoot out

Yup, understanding that some of his playmaking requires the quick-push pass, it's the ones that are station to station that are frustrating to see get picked off.
No excuse for those to not be crisp.

Drinking a half bottle of nice sipping whiskey $40.00

Waiting in anticipatation for the Western Final tomorrow $40.00
Watching the oilers getting their a$$$$ handed to them . . . priceless

Ramo I think was a lot more confident in OT.
But we can't keep needing to score 4 or more to support our goalies. Someone's gotta step up to the plate. As long as we're dressing this many rookies, the defence is bound to be spotty. Hopefully one of our tenders can be a wall for us again....Especially going into this road trip. But how can you not have confidence in this team going into california? There is no game that opponents can keep us out of.
I'll also say one thing after looking at the rookie scoring race - Forsberg leads with 22pts, but is pointless in last couple games, Johnny 2nd with 15 now - IF Johnny can start turning on the red light, I think he'll catch Forsberg.

1st star tonight should be to Kelly Hrudey for his analysis of the difference between the Oilers and the Flames during the first intermission. It was truly bang on.
