I almost dropped from div 5 to 6 but ended up re-doing my line-up (for energy) and have gone 12-2 since.


I try to have a line up sort of like:

PWF - PLY/2 way f - SNP
PWF - PLY/2 way f - SNP
SNP - TWF - PWF
PFW/2 way for all 3

my defence is:

Gio - Seabrook
Hjalmersson - Hamilton
Ekman-Larsen - Wisnewski

I find 2 or 3 OFD 1 or 2 DFD and TWD to round it out is good.

My top 2 centers are a boosted Bennett and boosted Monahan, good cheap cards and my top point getters.

Strategy is different for everyone but I found I like to play and aggressive style and turn pucks over deep.

Backstrom is the dog on my team, -6. I'm going to do some line-up work, picked up lucic, st. louis and shattenkirk last night.

I just played an offline game in HUT and Niemi let in 9 goals on 13 shots. Barely any of them were dangerous opportunities. Needless to say, he's up for auction right now. His GAA after 5 games is 4.56. Hiller has the same rating and he has a GAA of 1.73 over 17 games.

i've given up on the game a bit. Went out and bought madden15 off ea access for 38 bucks. I think that will be my sports game of choice for the most part, going forward this year.

Since putting Steen in my line-up he scores every game. I really like his shot and he is hard to knock off the puck. Yesterday he was standing in front of the net with the puck, 3 defenders try to hit him and he snipes it backhand top shelf standing still. I've had some turnover on my team to get to div 2.

I'm rolling with a 94 overall Brian Boyle as my #1 centre right now. He's a beast. Nobody can hit him, because he's 6'7, and nobody can pokecheck him, because he's 6'7.

I have kind an odd question about NHL 15 question. My step-son stays with his dad every other weekend, the rest of the time he is with his mom & I. I have our Xbox live account locked down so I have to enter my password for the boys to buy any content. It works fine, the boys ask and I'll spend a few bucks. NBD

Apparently their dad doesn't lock things down the same, and is saying that the boy has charged mega bucks to his account. One specific item is 52 transactions of $5.24 each in NHL 15. My question is, does this sound legit? Is there that much that can be spent on in game purchases? I know nothing about the game so I figured I'd ask the experts.

Yes, there's a game mode called Hockey Ultimate Team where you can purchased 'packs' that vary in price. Not sure of the exact costs of the packs, but that sounds like one of the jumbo types. Although 52 transactions sounds a bit excessive for kids.

This is on sale for $38.49 right now. I was waiting until the price dropped below $40, but I'm still a little iffy on buying it. Is it worth $40?

I would. That's a great price too right now. Hockey Ultimate Team can be quite addicting and the GM mode is much better since the patch.
