What about when Montreal put the puck in the net after the whistle and Brodie was the first one in there. I feel like maybe some people aren't watching what I'm watching. This team is sticking up for each other more than the flames have in years.

Hearing the "ole ole" chant in the Saddledome made me throw up. Quit selling your tickets to these vultures.

Glencross was quite good on the PP. Even Carey Price complemented him after the game, basically saying he got lucky when a couple of the Glencross tips hit him instead of going in the net.

I don't care if it's discrimination or not. I've always said if you are someone who wears an opponent's jersey to the 'Dome that you should be forced to pay a fee at the door that gets donated to charity. I don't care if it's a franchise with a storied history like the Habs. NOTHING grosses me out more then hearing cheers for the opponents in our own f'ing arena.

Agreed. When that puck went in, three Flames were in his face immediately. Jones tackles the 6'6" Tinordi before Stajan hit the ice. Any time there is any pushing or shoving the Flames seem to have an almost wolfpack mentality. I'm seeing no one left alone on an island, and certainly not Johnny.
Oh ya, Healy is an idiot. Still can't seem to comprehend that Flames Fans didn't give Johnny Hockey that nickname when he came to the NHL, but Boston fans did when he was and Eagle and the best player in the NCAA by a country mile. Could have and should have won the Hobey Baker back-to-back.
And he was a crap goalie.

Apparently I need green text to convey that a habs fan throwing a beer on the ice after a completely disrespectful play and getting tossed out was not cool

Missed the first period but from what I saw in the 2nd and 3rd I was very impressed witht the Flames. Great overall compete level and weren't afraid to mix it up with the rough stuff either. The score doesn't matter, Price won it for the Habs, but the growth the Flames are showing is incredible, they are a gutsy team. Once the confidence and skill level of some guys starts to really take hold this team will be on the upswing again. I thought this would be a really painful season but once again I love how the team is competing.

The amount of Habs fan there last night made the game more exciting, that was the best atmosphere I have seen in the dome in a long time. If the gameplay is just as exciting against Nashville the atmosphere still won't be close the the atmosphere last night

Except that it will be on a Friday and it's halloween. It will be just as rowdy but probably in a bad way.

Could've used Colborne in the shootout. But then again, Price was not letting anything in.

I didn't watch a lot of the game, basically last 5 mins of the 3rd and the overtime/shootout.
Man Gaudreau has some moves out there, that one point where Montreal was trying to clear the puck from their end, he basically knocked it off the skater's stick at the blueline, jumped around him and picked the puck up again? Insane.

Oh my god it's a hockey game. Get over yourself.
They're paying customers just like you are. If you're embarrassed they cheer louder than the home fans then cheer louder?
Some people take this game way too seriously.
Great game by the way. Johnny was a machine. I can't wait until he has the full confidence of the coaching staff and is put out there as often as they can. A couple more games like that and I think we'll see him be one of the leaders in ice time amongst the fowards.

Pretty extreme,
That's what makes sports enjoyable - having the opponent's fans in the arena.
Anyways that just gives the home team more fuel to cheer louder and drown out the ole chants/cheers.
