As bad as the Jets have been, the game is 24-14. Denver would be up 42-0 given what the Jets have offered up.
The difference between good and bad teams is the good ones kill their opponents for making mistakes. Bad teams let them off the hook.

For as poorly as the Seahawks started, they should now be up by 10, and likely have 3 more INTs. A late 2nd q iNT at the goal line , a poor throw to a wide open TE by Wilson which would've been a TD, and then Newton looks awful throwing the ball. Too busy practicing his first down pose (one of which wasn't a first down).
Seattle needs this one, which is a pretty big understatement. They won all these types of games last year when they weren't playing their best, and already lost one like this last week when they had their chances at the end.

Who said that? Though he certainly hasn't helped, this is a team wide breakdown today.
Doesn't take away from the fact he leads the entire NFL in turnovers, this "vaunted" offense looks like a pop warner group, and the Bears are about to go 3-5.
This team was supposed to be competing for the division at years end...they aren't even close at this point. He is their highest paid player by a mile and supposedly a leader...so when does he start to get some blame? I'm very curious.
He has had apologists from day 1 of his career and I simply cant understand why, and nowknow that they are going to have a hard time spinning this season.

Kansas City is really going to wonder how the hell they lost a home game to Tennessee at the end of the season. It could cost them a playoff spot.

I guess when he becomes part of the coaching staff. He has been one of the only players actually doing something active today.
How does any of this fall on him or his leadership? should he be covering Gronkowski?

Again this goes well beyond just this game.
I just looked it up...he has 171 turnovers (Int's and lost fumbles) in 112 career games including today. That's....not good.
He is 6 games over .500 in his career. He has been a pro-bowler..once. He has led his team to the playoffs...once.
But yeah...its never his doing, its always the rest of the team.

Jay Cutler is paid correctly relative to Joe Flacco and the other highly overpaid guys. But that speaks to the lack of tiering in NFL QB contracts. Mediocre to slightly above average QBs get paid close to the same as good QBs.

Flacco does his usually prayer chucking and it works for a miracle TD, but Steve Smith gets called for PI and it's no good.

he deserves his share of flack, but the fact is that before this game he has thrown as many INTs as Andrew Luck and had an equal QB rating to other good QBs around the league.
He may not be the top starting QB in the league but he is a starting QB and when you look at the problem as a whole, Jay Cutler isn't it. When you give up 50 points it doesnt fall on the QB every week.

Roethlisberger is having an unbelievable game vs the Colts. 18-20, 274 yards and 4 TDs and it's not even half time yet

This has been a really terrible Sunday of action overall. Even the close games have been mostly very poorly played.
