I'd do it. You have the WR depth to cover Smith's loss but you're RBs are a HUGE question mark.

Need advice. Should I start Cam Newton or Joe Flacco?
Newton has been so mediocre this season, and hasn't rushed at all really. Experts seem to think he might do it against the bears defence, but I'm skeptical.

I'd probably go with Flacco. The Bears defense is certainly poor, but they do get Jared Allen back today which will help the Dline.

Flacco is going to have to pass a lot today I think against Indy who will likely score at least 25 points as they have all year. he has the better receiving core and running game as well.

More than that, its possible Newton throws for a bunch against the Bears secondary...they just aren't very good....though they are capable of int's like few other teams.

I'd go with Flacco myself just because Indy on D is really suspect and his receivers have been pretty good of late...but its really a toss up.

Flacco was ugly today. 4.4 fantasy points.

Playing flacco again this week over Newton. I feel like he's going to have a good game against the bucs.

My team is doomed (1-4) and as such I've decided to start Flacco as well because I think he will bounce back strong. It might be a very stupid move considering Rodgers is my other QB. Flacco has the better match up going against a weak TB defense.

Yeah, I dropped to 2-3 after last week.
Come on Flacco, help me out!

I had both Russell Wilson and Demaryus Thomas in the lineup last week, so clobbered my opponent quite badly. Hoping for more of the same this week!

I still won my matchup by 48 points and put up the highest point total in the league by playing Reggie Bush as a flex over Thomas. Really it was the choice of 2 of Bush, Sanders, and Thomas....and I benched the guy who put up huge points. I hate when I do stuff like that.

In one league I'm 3-2 and would be 4-1 had my kid been more co-operative with the Ipad one Sunday morning to get Arian Foster out of my lineup. Also 3-2 in another league, but my team is a complete fraud that's going to get outed unless I continue to luck out with my opponents crapping the bed every week. That one was an auction draft that I missed due to ball playoffs this year and my team does suck a big fat shaft in that league.

I just looked at my match-up for this week and I should be able to pull off a win. My opponent has apparently given up and hasn't made any adjustments since week 3. He currently has 3 players that are projected to be out of action this weekend.

I better not lose this week!

I should come here weekly

Got proposed a trade:
I send D. Thomas (WR) and C. Ivory (RB)
I get E. Decker (WR), B. Hoyer (QB) and V. Davis (TE)

I really need a QB. I have Big Ben and Blake Bortles. It was B. Bortles 2nd start last week vs Pitt and didnt throw a touchdown. He doesnt really have many weapons on the Jags team and I think B. Hoyer will play well for the rest of the year.

My WRs are K. Benjamin, M. Wallace and B. Quick. So the loss of D. Thomas will not be too bad. However, I do have doubts that D. Thomas will explode again like he did in the prior week. Peyton has E. Sanders, J. Thomas (frankly, he snakes a lot of red zone TDs from D. Thomas) and a healthy W. Welker.

The trade proposer has Cutler and Stafford as other QBs (2 QB league).

Anyways, long story short: I'm hesitant to trade D. Thomas for B. Hoyer. I'd trade Thomas for either Stafford or Cutler (proposer likely wont trade Cutler though). I am also thinking of doing the exact trade and then subbing in K. Benjamin instead of D. Thomas.

What do y'all think?

I would not accept that trade. Hoyer is the deal-breaker. You're giving up a lot in D. Thomas, so he needs to be willing to give up one of his other QBs. Definitely counter that trade.

This.

You're giving up the best player and getting his 3rd best QB.

Thanks guys!

I think I will counter with the same trade, but drop D. Thomas for Benjamin.

Or ask for Stafford instead of Hoyer.

I would leave D Thomas in there and just ask for another one of his QBs, if your need is a QB.

And I'll bet he just started with Hoyer hoping you'd (foolishly) take the trade, but he's willing to give up one of his others if you do counter.

Offer D THomas for Stafford and he should accept, if not, roll with Big Ben. Hoyer is no improvment over him.
