Sadly this was one if his better trades. I'm sure his trade history was a big part of his firing but I don't think this was one they cared about.

The problem here is that that is not the whole hashtag. The whole thing reads:
#goodthingstocome #21
So, within its context it looks more like "goodthingstocome" is made with reference to Gaudreau's coming of age. All that to say that I don't think there is that much to read into Hayes tweet. I think that had he meant it to imply from it that he will join Gaudreau and Arnold in Calgary, it would look different, and would likely have contained some allusion to their relationship as line mates. It doesn't.

They were out celebrating Johnnys 21st last night. That favourite came late last night while Johnny was likely intoxicated, i'd say there's a pretty decent chance Kevin Hayes is a Flame this week.

How are they going nowhere? They've got a lot of quality young players and prospects. Kane, Trouba, Schiefle, Bogosian, Ehlers, Glover, Petan. Not to mention all their vets are relatively young as well. Ladd, Byfuglien, Enstrom, Wheeler, Little. The West is tough so I don't think they can make playoffs but they have some players. Only reason you'd choose Calgary over them is because you think you'd have a better chance to play.
