In West Hillhurst we were surrounded by crazy lightning around 11:00 pm.
To the North and to the South of us.
The wind blew a lot of blossoms off the trees.

I'm in Oakridge and took a video of the storm and I thought I'd be a thread hero with the posted youtube video of comparable scenes from twister... it ended up being 35 seconds of blackness with the occasional flash of lightning... plus I was eating chips and you can hear that more than the thunder.

I took a video too and it was mostly the same...mostly just darkness and some stationary street lights that you can sorta see sheets of rain coming down nearby. The only interesting part of the video was the quiet start and comparably how loud it got when the rain really came down.
