I think the water spraying is harmless just pretty stupid. But you can't expect much less from a guy like Thornton. I think the 2 goal lead and the amount of time left played a factor. I mean if there was 5 minutes left and 3-2 habs and he did that during play I think the league would be a lot more harsh.

The league fined him the maximum amount allowed and they'd never in a million years suspend him for that. They were as harsh as possible.
