I was knocking the icicles off my eavestrough today with a 2x4 and one slid down the 2x4 and hit my hand. Effing hurt. Also some of the icicles have encompassed the Xmas lights and are starting to pull them down - meaning my attempt at not having to put up and take down Xmas lights every season has once again been thwarted by mother nature.
On the bright side - icicle sword fights!!

You have angered God by not properly honouring the birth of His Son.
I'm pretty sure it's in the bible that thou shalt put up thine Christmas decorations no earlier than the Eve of All Hallowed and remove them prior to the Day of the Groundhog.

My roommate grinds my gears.
I moved up north to get some job experience in my field. I met this guy at work and he was looking for a roommate and seemed like a normal person. Paying 1/2 rent also seemed nice.
I have never met somebody so adverse to cleaning. I've lived with him for a year and this week he took out the garbage for the first time. Or so I thought, I looked on the balcony today and the garbage was out there...ok.
When I walk by his room you cant even see the floor. Empty fast food bags scattered every wear. There are also mountains of dishes and dirty laundry piled up about waist high. Absolutely disgusting.
His room stinks so bad that the smell wafts into the rest of the apartment. So for about the last week I have been lighting candles near my desk to try and mask the smell. He comes home from work today and says something like "What's with the candle" and makes some comment about how only girls use them. I then told him he stinks so bad that I have no choice but to use it. He then got all defensive and said "I'm a very clean person." and stormed off... roomates grmg.

I find passive aggressiveness is usually the best policy for dealing with people like that.

I could go on about my not-soon-enough to be ex wife...
Albeit I did open this thread to whine about dumbasses who can't merge and people who stop in an 80 zone to allow them to not... Resulting in near accidents...

OK, so, if I didn't get flex days, that would grind my gears, but I do, so it doesn't. So I had a couple to take by the end of the quarter, so I took last Wed and Th. off and thought I could do a little project off replacing the old kitchen sink with a new Stainless steel one. So I got the old one off, and the counter top had warped where the taps were. So the new one didn't sit flat. So, go buy a new counter top, thinking how tough can this be?
Well, first there are some bolts that fit underneath the seam of the 2 pieces that make a corner, so I had to make a router template for them. Then cutting a super straight 45 in a counter top is not as easy as it sounds. The whole process was gmg's after awhile.
Oh, and not having heat in my garage really gmg's.

"Politically correct" really grinds my gears, its gotten way out of hand to the point where everyone should have a completely accepting view of everything or they're "not with the times"

I agree to an extent, but it depends on the subject. For example, if one thinks that "those homos should keep their funny business in the bedroom ", then a "not with the times" comment is completely justified.
But yes, in some ways society has become a little too PC.

Fun fact:
The phrase "politically correct" in it's current form was coined by American conservatives as a way to basically dismiss Liberals and (separately) any efforts towards making language more inclusive and less discriminatory.
The term itself is pretty much an insult, essentially referring to "fake/contrived compassion" and "politically correct" is generally more aligned WITH discrimination, than it is against it.
So, I guess what I'm saying... is that it kind of GMG that "politically correct" is used interchangeably with being inclusive or generally inoffensive. Even if some people are a little TOO concerned with ensuring they're not offending anyone (which I agree, is a problem).

It would be easier for me if you used green text, my over-inflated ego has too much trouble distinguishing sarcasm from genuine praise. You're just making it worse.

When pre-paying for gas, the time it takes to pump the last $1 of it RGMG.
It takes about 3 minutes to pump $39 worth of gas, and then another 3 minutes to pump that final $1.

Always input the amount +1. Pay for $41, pump up to 40$ at full speed then stop. Problem solved.

I don't mean to come across as a CP 1%er (far from it - trust me), but I don't think that I have ever done anything less than a fill at the gas station. I'm not sure I understand why you would partially fill to a specific dollar amount. It doesn't save you any money, and just increases the frequency that you'll have to visit the gas station, thus wasting time.
