The Sudbury Wolves are down 1 games to none in the OHL playoffs against the Barrie Colts.

I consider Calgary my hometown now though.

The Powell River Kings of the BCHL (Junior A) are down 3 games to 2 in their division championship against the Victoria Grizzlies. They play at home tonight. In the regular season they finished tied for 3rd overall 4 points behind Langley.

Calgary is my hometown team, but I went to high school/college in Oregon. The Portland Winterhawks have been ultra-successful since Bill Gallacher bought the team.

I hope that Sam Reinhart gets returned to his junior team next year. It will be fun watching a decent team with a superstar playing in Lethbridge for a change...

Well the flames have been fun to watch, though where i am living now, the STFX x men had a mediocre season losing their first round series to the University de Moncton 2-0. I blame bad goaltending (one night his GAA was .667 against the worst team in the league) and overall inconsistant play

The Salmon Arm Silverbacks (BCHL) suck as usual and didn't make the playoffs but the Vernon Vipers did manage to go up 3-2 on the Penticton Vees in the first round of the playoffs.

My hometown Kamloops Blazers are at the bottom of the standings and my current town Kelowna Rockets are on top after a record setting year.

Brooks Bandits finished first and got a bye into the second round of the playoffs where they swept the Olds Grizzlies. Likely play the Drumheller Dragons in the semi-finals which should be a good series as they are their chief rivals. Bandits not as dominant a team as when they won the RBC Cup last year but they should still have a deep run and a good chance to win the league championship again.

Well my hometown is Technically Medicine Hat. So the Tigers are playing against the Broncos in the Quarter Finals. The whl team I root for is The Royals that have had a good season finished 3rd in the west.

I'm in the "unfortunately I cheer for the Lethbridge Hurricanes" category... Although I live in Calgary, I'm using my birthplace for this thread.

Trail Smoke Eaters are 10-42-2. Makes me sad a bit. Alternately, the Beaver Valley Nighthawks of the KIJHL are 9-3.

I'm somewhat surprised to see so many Lethbridge Hurricane fans on this board.

Well, I suspect nobody will cheer for the Lethbridge Hurricanes next year...

Had a few ex-Smoke Eaters on the Geneseo team recently including my good friend Stefan Decosse.

And for those hanging on word about the Ice Knights, they lost to St. Norbert in the NCAA DIII semifinal yesterday to finish the best year in school history.

Home town flames are doing ok, Hitmen are always doing good, and my Current residence the Prince Albert Raiders won a tie breaker game to get into the playoffs. They play the Oil Kings in the first round. Go Raiders Go!

My daughter's NCAA team came in dead last in its conference.

But it's still all good--the Vancouver Canucks are blowing chunks.
