Wait. A lino gave a dodgy call in City's favor?

How strange.

I'm not going to whine too much. Not able to see the game (thankfully) but when the shots are 19-3, it's pretty clear one team is dominating the other.

It would be interesting if a stat like that existed, it seems like there is a lot of controversy when linesmen make calls.

Surprised at Chelsea getting nothing at West Ham.

City look unstoppable.

Its something they should look at. I watch a lot of soccer and I cant remember the last time I was watching a game and thought to myself:

"Thank god the linesman caught that!"

Especially in terms of penalties.

I'd be very interested in seeing the stat for Platini's assistant ref beside the post. I think I've seen them make the correct call once.

He touches the ball first, but that wasnt a good challenge.

No, I agree, thats no red, but despite Dzeko playing for it, I can see that being given.

no shame losing to the 2nd best team in Europe and they could have been up 3-0 20 minutes in if it wasn't for Hugo, but that Red was a joke, it was a dive and it also wasn't even a penalty, the linesman calling for both not the ref is ridiculous

when Spurs finally start dictating tempo the same lino wrongly called Dawson offside on the goal

can't wait for Sandro/Pauli/Vertonghen/Lamela/Townsend to get back either this weekend of next

I don't think the offside is wrong. Ade is offside and involved in the play. He might have even touched the ball.

not saying it changes the result though, they are on an unbelievable purple patch at the moment, but I would have liked to have seen the game with those 2 calls going the other way

and even City fans know they have gotten the generous side of the officials this year, it's like SAF leaves and suddenly the refs are confused over which Manchester side they are supposed to follow

Like you said before, theres no shame in losing to City. That team is stacked from top to bottom and all of a sudden, I think for the first time really, all the pieces are clicking together at the right time.

No Aguero? No problem. Negredo steps up.

Dzeko not getting enough playing time? No problem. He super-subs it up.

They really are an unstoppable juggernaut at the moment. I cant think of any team that I'd favour over City head-to-head other than the big boys like Bayern/Barca/Real.

ya I think they smash Barca

I only see Madrid outplaying them, and over two legs Chelsea could probably park the bus them to death and eek out a result

Bayern and them are even to me, slight edge to City if everyone is fit
