Berra is... frustrating. He has the quickness and athleticism to make highlight reel saves, but he regularly gives up bad goals due to poor positioning and technique.

Considering where they both started to where they are now... they have made great strides in growth
I think Berra has the skill and needs to learn consistency and NA ice positioning. Give him another contract and keep working with him, we've seen definite improvement. Even having him in Abby to get some positioning down would be good to see. I think it's one of those high risk, high reward cases. He'll either be fantastic or a complete bust

This is the fastest the Flames have played in a long time.

Ramo is gradually growing on me.
Berra is slowly losing me.

Hopefully Berra can improve, and find some confidence.....but at least it looks like we may have a found a passable NHL goalie in Ramo.

Announcer keeps saying money is 18 I'm not the type to say he's a terrible announcer because of that but you think they'd know their facts.

Really hoping we would see another McGrattan v Bollig fight but doubt we'll see out 4th line too much again this game

Flames skating really well in this game. When they keep their feet moving they're a lot faster than people give them credit for.

I don't think Ramo having more experience has anything to do with it. Berra just doesn't have it. Like many failed goalie experiments the Flames have gone through.

Berra needs to get a lot better if he wants to be an NHLer beyond this year.

I've always thought that the strongest goaltenders for the NHL were the most even keel ones, hence Kiprusoff (who also happened to be great with the flashy athletic stuff too).

Berra is too much of a try hard, who has some raw skill, but over commits on several occasions each game, and is very very up and down. It leads me to think that emotionally he's the same in his approach to games. He wants to impress badly, but he allows that to influence his game on the ice too heavily. Sometimes it works out, but more often it just doesn't. I think in order to be successful in the larger picture and over full seasons, you have to be extremely consistent in your technique and play.

For this reason, Ramo is the most likely candidate to become something in this league to me. Seems very cool and calm and not nearly as easily shaken. He has issues, but things that Malarchuk and co. can most certainly help him to work out.

This is also why Gillies looks to be a bright spot for the future.

Galiardi needs to go. He is about as useless as a mouthless dog in a frisbee catching competition.
