This is quite a bit like last year. The players are playing like they are waiting for the next shoe to drop. Last year, they knew they were out of it and once it was known that Iggy was going, they were all looking over their shoulders. It affected the on ice performance. This year, I suspect you had a team believing in itself, that things were going right and they deserved a better fate in many of their close losses. Burke turfing Feaster and saying he didn't like the makeup of the team introduces the same element in to the overall dynamic.
