Should be a few hundred little boys named "Jaxon" over the past few years too.
My 5 year old son is named Jaxon. We all call him Jax, or Jak Jak though

I've sold my wife on Bruce for a boy and Eleanor (Ellie) for a girl. Love those two.

My youngest son is named Hayden after the coach of the Iowa Hawkeyes, because my husband played football for the Hawks under Hayden Fry. He's 15 now, and it was not a popular name when he was born. Pisses me off that girls are being named 'Hayden' now. I didn't see it coming, as I thought 'Hayden' was one of the weirdest names I'd ever heard at the time.

To be quite honest, it was my ex-wife's decision! She wanted to be clever. Also, she didn't want him to be called Jack. She never banked on my family calling him Jak Jak from The Incredibles.

Oh FFS, why don't they just name the kid Special Snowflake already? Because that's the whole point of a dumbass name like So'Unique Miracle.

My son is named Damien (we went with the more English-style with the "e") and got a lot of "Omen" comments at first. And to be honest, I was largely unaware that a character from such a terrible movie series has such a connotation, particularly with the 50+ age group. Younger people seem not to connect the name with the movie as much.

No regrets at all, however. We are a non-religious family, so it is actually a little humourous to have a spawn of satan namesake running around, although he's actually such a gentle and friendly little kid. I even thought of making a short movie using our dogs (black and tan miniature dachshunds) as stand-ins to mimic some of the stupid scenes from the movie. One day...

Ya, despite the different spelling we got the Omen reference too which of course I found awesome because I am a horror buff. Of course the religious nuts connected his middle name to Anton LeVey's middle name too, even though it is a different spelling and came from a ridiculous TV show. My son is a funny gentle kid as well. Just send the religious zealots here.

When my dad remarried, my stepmom had to consider what to do with her last name. Briefly considered the hyphen. But her last name was Eaton.

And ours is Fish.

I know a little girl named Eleanor and she is sweet and cute. It's a really nice name. Bruce works for me as well. I like classic names a lot.

I'd forgotten this, but your post reminded me. Dh used to work with a guy whose last name was Urhyn. Pronounced Urine. His wife hyphenated her last name with his - hers first, then his. Smart move - otherwise she'd have been FirstName Urhyn-Hunter.

When they had to call him up from the back of the shop, they wouldn't actually use his last name in full - just used the U from his last name. They had to specify because there was more than one guy with the same first name.
