How far away from a decent team are the Oilers?

You could make a good argument that every single defenceman on the Blues is better than every single defenceman on the Oilers.

That's how far.

its a matter of opinion...I don't buy that he just remembered how to play hockey again. Its hard to look good when playing with a bunch of clowns

yeah, I'm sure Taylor Hall will get all indignant about losing after this game, but that kid is basically just a fantasy player at this point. Racks up useless points and just constantly turns the puck over with zero self-responsibility shown.

At this point pretty much all of their 1st overalls are a disaster.

I'm pretty sure you could insert most NHL teams to that list

Love how Hrudey keeps highlighting all the "excellent plays" lol. You wouldn't think it was 4-0 listening to that homer.

Sorry 5-0.

I'll say this, Hall is the only one of their uber super star young guns that I would consider trading Monahan straight up for. RNH is a close-ish second. Eberle, Gagme, Pukapov, Schultz...? Nope.

And it's 5 zip.

He had better support in Calgary than he did Florida. Also, you are basically arguing that it is the other Blues players that are making him look better than he is.

5-0.

What's funny is that they barely score, but yet blame goaltending.

Nugent-Hopkins gets beat to the net by Tarasenko and has to drag him down.

Colour commentator says "great play by Nugent-Hopkins showing some strength"

I think so. Honestly though, that's not a bad thing. Any random six stiffs of the street couldn't be worse.
