I thought the Kings weren't giving permission until after the next draft...
Different because the Sabres are out east v the Flames in the same division/conference or it's Shannon?

Yup, for all the guys pining for a Marchand-type player: Bouma is going to fill that role & then some. The guy is born to be an agitator, but he can take a regular shift and be really effective. I'm a big fan.

Except unlike that little weasel Marchand, Bouma will actually back up his actions on the ice, and I have yet to see him throw a blatant check into the numbers the way Marchand did in that last period. Quite frankly, I'd be happy if we NEVER had a player like Marchand on our team ever again.

They asked again, and LA still didn't get permission.
Not sure where Shannon got that information, because they would quite literally be the first time anyone mentioned LA giving permission.
