What's the deal with zadorov. Play him or send him down. Kids that age can't be left watching.

Lindholm has already played 10 NHL games so his first year of ELC is burned.
Here is the exact wording from the CBA:

Just curious, how much would Sieloff be getting paid? The same amount as his two-way ELC, it just doesn't burn up the first year?

Yes, the ELC would just be extended another year.

I think the Sabres will do anything that helps them finish dead last it this point. The tank is definitely on there.

this season has been relatively eye-opening with regards to just how hard it is to finish in a lottery pick. flames roster looks pretty bad with limited offensive sure-fire forwards, a bare-bone d group and goalies with no NHL experience, yet the flames are barely cracking the bottom 5 in the league.
Klowe should really be congratulated on his ability as a GM to achieve 30/30/29 place.

Ya, it is amazing the flames have never picked in the top 5 and I'll be surprised if we so this year.
I don't like losing and I think that we should try our best to avoid a losing culture.
So far Monahan has been great for a rookie. He will be the leader of our franchise for many, many years. The future is exciting!
I think the most impressive rookie so far though is Nichuskin, he will be a star as long as he remains in the NHL. I think if he doesn't get what he wants he could still be a flight risk.

As McTavish said in his press conference, the Oilers are still paying for their success in the 80's.... but you are right, Lowe is impressive and dont forget, a winner

How many Stanley Cups do you all have? Unless you have more than Lowe I don't believe you know what it takes to win.

@BuffNewsVogl The Sabres have sent rookie defenseman Rasmus Ristolainen and rookie center Johan Larsson to Rochester.
Zadorov also reported to be leaving Buffalo.. would have to return to London
edit:
Nikita Zadorov @zadorov61 5m
Back to London....

Good... these players were clearly not ready and were being forced into the line-up. They all have the skills and the talent but are just too young and raw. This is better for the long term of this team.

Really? Hes not even the best rookie on his team and might struggle to be a top 10 rookie right now. Not to mention he is seeing 1st line and 1st powerplay minutes. Hes been mildly dissapointing if anything.

Grigorenko is not going back to junior as many believed... he has been sent to the AHL on a conditioning stint:
Bill Hoppe @BillHoppeNHL 4m
#Sabres Mikhail Grigorenko is going on a conditioning assigment to #Rochester ... will come back after.

Nichushkin has 7 points in 6 games I believe skating on Dallas' top line. He's profiting from Seguin and Benn blowing up (especially against the Flames) but he looks like he belongs.
Seth Jones has taken a step back, he's a -7 in the last four or five games.
Mackinnon is being moved to center in the wake of Duchene's injury this will be an interesting test for him.

Is there a URL to find the stats for NHL Rookie scoring? Can't seem to find it on NHL.com.
Thanks.

The Vets have really carried the mail for us in terms of wins so far. Guys like Stajan, Stempniak and Cammy are playing for new contracts with other organizations.
If we play our cards right, we could have a very high % chance at McDavid next year.

In order of how impressed I've been:
Krug
Jones
Mackinnon
Hertl
Monahan
Barkov
I would add Trouba, but the injury early on doesn't give as much body of work to comment on.

I know some people are going to claim that these are moves to help the Sabres tank, but these guys were simply not ready for the NHL yet. This is new management trying to fix old managements mistakes, and hopefully get these guys back on track.
