They made the same blunder when they opened the new loop ramp to go east on 22X. I understand that it's hectic and they're trying to get a ton of things done... but there's no excuse for such poor communication. Three years worth of traffic advisories on this page, then they post nothing for arguably the most important opening so far? When people closely following the project don't even know, how do they expect normal people to figure it out?
I think we're still going to see reduced speeds and construction clean up's till probably November. If i remember correctly north stoney wasn't fully open till a few months after. Still a small price to pay for such a big job.
Koodo's to the province and construction teams. Well done.
Nope. Openish to Seton.
Lots of bottle necks though.
Ditto on the above, the Peigan-22X section on the east side of the city isn't open yet, though as far as I can tell it's ready. That must be where they're waiting for an audit, and the WB-SB bridges at Deerfoot aren't done yet so those probably need to be checked out too.
Sounds like those guys are really struggling with signage. A couple weeks ago, I had an early morning meeting, and had to take the NB mackenzie exit from 22x EB. Signs said to exit right, but as I got there, it was clear that it was still a left turn. That screw up cost me 20 minutes because the Cranston people exiting their neighbourhood were backed wayyy up. That pissed me off, but I didn't bother bitching because I figured it was just one mistake. It sounds like that's not the only one though. Damn strugglers.

Probably because the sign people can't even tell what road goes where.

Anyone know who to call about road markings? I called 311 but they said it was some company like "Carmack" that I had to talk to, and she transferred me, but I had to hang up before I got through.
17th Ave SE WB right before Stony (between Stony and 84th) the lanes are very irregular, and the line they painted isn't very visible so everyone follows some other lane marker (or none at all). Every single time I'm in the right lane there I have someone either cut me off, almost crash into me so I have to slam on my brakes or eat a pylon, or honk at me because they can't figure out that the two lanes still exist even if they aren't very well marked. Dangerous for anyone wanting to go 17th Ave SE WB to Stony NB.

This is completely off-topic and random, but whenever I see this thread on the forum page, I automatically think of the song "From Out of Nowhere" by Faith No More, and sing in my head "But you took a ring road to nowhere, woaaaah."
