Looks like Karlsson plays for the Canucks with how easily he went down and raised his arms to the ref there.

Good on Dupuis. Karlsson is gonna stuggle this series, especially if he tries to play half of every game.

Earlier, he said that maybe Crosby's line was ineffective because Iginla was dragging it down.

Now, Crosby is back with his regular line and Healy took that to mean that Bylsma thought so too. Hughson added, "Says a lot about Jarome Iginla's game tonight or lack thereof."

Iginla hasn't play a noticeably weak game and he got an assist on the second goal.

Really thought Ottawa would have come out with a little more oomph in game 1. Need to have a better effort in game 2.

Hughson actually sounded almost as despondent as when the Canucks get scored on. What a jackass, he can't even stay unbiased in games that have zero to do with Vancouver.

Yes he has. Iginla has done dick all out there and his assist was off his body.

If by 'barely touched it' you mean moved perfectly to the open ice, took the pass off his skate and chipped it cross crease to Kunitz for the goal, then I agree.

It hasn't been his best game ever or anything, but Ottawa has bottled most of this game up pretty well. Other than the PPs (and that last short handed goal) there haven't been a lot of scoring chances.

Clearly we're watching a different game, because Ottawa has been the better team this game.

Not just you, doesn't feel like a playoff game somehow.

Agree the hate on Hughson has for Iginla is so very obvious even take a cheap comment about the Pens picking him up.
If Hughson suffered a career ending vocal injury i would not shed a tear.
The crap he has said tonight and the distain in his voice for Iginla is completly a lack of professionalism.

No, the assist was off of his stick. He hasn't stood out as a weak link among Pens players at all. Not a great game by any means, but not especially bad either.

I know of no other superstar (post apex or not) that gets so consistently singled out for criticism by the CBC in general, and Hughson and Healy in particular, than Iginla. It's so pointed and borderline disrespectful that its truly hard to process where this crap comes from.

Neither team has been great but Pittsburgh when they have wanted look dominant and the scoring chances look to be at least 10 to 1 in favor of Pittsburgh.

Ottawa may have played better (and that is a big may) but they have never looked that dangerous or a real threat to beat Pittsburgh in this game.

Personally I've been a little disappointed with Iginla's play 5 on 5. I thought a trade would light a fire under him but it appears he's declining fast into a powerplay specialist.

Yah, gonna have to disagree on the one. Ottawa does not look good this game. It's not like the Pens look that sharp either, but they look like the better team. Karlsson looks lazy out there.

I don't disagree. If Ottawa had any finish or better players this game would be tied.

If Pitt plays for more than 10-15 minutes in this game it's 7-1.
