A lot of different views. Hopefully, it will end amicably and both sides prosper. Great player and a team that needs help...now.

What is that, seven hall of fame guys? Has Iginla ever played with 7 Hall of Fame players in his entire Flame career?
Seven? I count four, maybe five.

He wasn't too clutch with his snowblower. I know, i know...

Remember the rotating LW'ers Jarome always had. It was embarrassing watching Ronald Petrovicky being given a shot.. Jamie Wright fresh from the minors?? first line LW! I can't think of a Star player that has had less to work with throughout his carer then Jarome.

Iginla is probably a part of the problem the last couple of seasons, he has seemingly grown complacent. I can't blame him, when I've been with a poorly run company that shows no leadership or direction I tend to phone it in too. It doesn't make it okay but I don't put Iginla on a pedestal just because he is a athlete in the spotlight. He needs to be traded to a team and find that spark again, something he lost with this team long ago, something I blame on a total culture of failure during his entire career to build any sort of team around him.

Seriously, the best guy at center he ever had was Craig Conroy. He's 35 years old, a veteren of over 1000 NHL games and the best linemate he's ever had was Craig Conroy.

Yeah, six if you include Sakic sorry. Roy, Blake, Bourque, Forsberg, Hejduk.

Has Iginla ever played with that many HOF'er in his career? (when they weren't on the downswing)

The Eberle thing was an obvious joke...the guy hasn't even played a meaningful game in the NHL yet. I think he is poking fun at the Oilers fans that call him "clutch"

I sure as hell hope so

When the Avs won the cup, Sakic passed the Cup to Bourque right away instead of skating around the ice himself.

I don't think Hejduk gets in, or at least I hope not.

And yes it was a joke obviously, but I still love Eberle.

Yeah, you might be right. Maybe I always think of him higher then he should be because he always ate the Flames alive.

He's been surrounded by stars his entire career, it's his fault he's done nothing with them.
Those are NOT star players.

Blake is borderline. I'd be really surprised if Hejduk makes it. Anyway, this is totally off topic as I agree with your point. Kipprusoff has hall of fame talent but maybe didn't play long enough in his prime to make it. Another 30-win season would put him at 17th all time in wins, two spots behind non-hall of famer Tom Barrasso.

I'm struggling to come up with any hall of famers Iginla's played with while they were anywhere near their prime. Unsurprisingly.

You don't win twice as many games as you lose if you're not a very good team.
