I left the only MLB game I've been to after the 6th inning when the score was 5-7. I will never go back to one. I don't care if it's Game 7 of the World Series and I have free tickets.

It's just so bloody boring. Even when something finally happens, it's like nothing happens.

I can't even fathom how anyone enjoys it. To each their own though.

Coffee tastes like dirt.
“Gladiator” might be the most overrated movie of all time – Terrible
Having Dogs and cats as pets is stupid – at least in the city. I don’t get it.
Iggy will score 650+ goals as a Calgary Flame. He will also win the Stanley Cup as a member of the Flames.
There is a significant percentage of the population that believes they are knowledgeable about music, when in reality, they are clueless. It is really frustrating taking with most people about music, because they think they know everything about it, but show through what they say that they have no clue.
The Beatles, Radiohead, are highly overrated. Neil Young, Bob Dylan, etc are completely terrible, and should never step near a microphone.
Mozart’s well known works are some of the most boring compositions you’ll hear. In general, Mozart is overrated.
J.S. Bach is likely the best music composer to ever have lived on Earth. Utter and complete genius.
Party Politics is a terrible way to do things. When the parliamentary system was first imagined, it wasn’t imagined like it exists now.
Beer doesn’t taste good.
People want government services, but don’t want to pay for them. People are going to have to get used to paying higher tax rates in the future.
The majority of the CFL’s rulebook is better than the NFL’s rulebook.
The single point in the CFL should not be eliminated, as it makes the game more strategic.
Abortion should be illegal ( I recognize that making it illegal isn’t going to stop it from happening, and that there are many other factors in play)
Gay marriage is acceptable (might be unpopular in some of the circles I’m part of)
Basketball would be a better sport if each team only had one timeout per half.
I don’t cheer for the Blue Jays and the Raptors simply because they are the only Canadian teams in their leagues.
I wish the Montreal Expos were still around.
NE Calgary, is the best area of Calgary to live in.

Watched the first session and while it wasn’t bad it certainly didn’t live up to the hype that surrounds it. Outside of Bryan Cranston the acting is awful, the story is meh, and none of the characters are likeable. I couldn’t be bothered to watch the second season.

I always hear this. What is it about being at a baseball game live that makes it more enjoyable? It couldn't be the action on the field.

I think the worst way to spend a vacation is on the beach or around a pool. I love beaches and swimming but I just do not get people that can lay there all day getting a tan and such. I try and I get bored after a while.

I wish the hockey strike or lock-out or whatever it was was still on.

If you're a fan of hockey, go play. Going out with my friends when a hockey game is on is intolerable. I think it's rude to focus on a game on TV when you're at a social event. If you want to watch hockey go to the dome or stay home.

When people go out to watch a game as the social event, that's different, however. Like if you invited me to watch the Flames game at a bar, I would be an idiot to get mad that you actually wanted to watch the game. I just hate when it's a random beer or wing night and some inconsequential game is on like Mighty Ducks versus Penguins (I can't believe grown men cheer for teams with either of those names, BTW) and half the table is staring at the TV like giant dopes.

Also, I get annoyed by sports fans in general. I find the cheering for a goal jarring and kind of stupid. I've tried to like it, but I just can't care.

Also, I had a blast during the cup run and loved the red mile and watched every game 10 years ago (or whenever it was) so if we make it far I'll be on the band wagon and loving it.

What we are told is "Canadian History" should be of little concern to people in the West. I could care less whether the kingdoms of France and England squabbled over the territories of Ontario and Quebec.

Out of curiosity ... Did you ever play ? I think since I played at a somewhat competitive level I find myself thinking more in the game than watching it.
i.e Runners on 1st and 2nd less than 2 outs , Will the hitter try to bunt or maybe a hit and run. It's a 2-0 count , runner on 1st... The runner should steal bc the next pitch will probably be a hittable pitch... Stuff like that.

I think the slower pace of baseball really does add to the live experience. You can grab a beer between innings, get some of the awesome food that they have at any of the modern ballparks, and BS with your buddies without really missing anything from the game. Plus there's just something about being at an outdoor sporting that beats the indoor experience.

I used to be like that, but after living in a lake community for a few years I've gotten a lot better at it. It's weird, but it took practice to learn how to lay around.

Really, if you've got millions of dollars, do you need social security.
Uppermost 2% does not equal millions of dollars, in Canada to be in the top 1% you only needed to earn $201,000 in 2010.

Well if you're watching a Leafs game of course all the fights are going to involve players who are just trying to remain relevant!

I'll take it one step further with the CFL...I'd say my opinion is maybe 50% unpopular.

The CFL is a joke of a league all around. It is a second rate league, that is nowhere near as exciting. The "our balls are bigger" campaign was an abomination...sure, the CFL uses a bigger ball, but that's why NO ONE CAN THROW THE BALL...it looks like a wounded duck through the air on 50% of the throws. You should probably consider using a smaller ball, and the game would instantly be a lot better.

The athletes are worse than in the NFL, there is no disputing that. NFL players are more electric.

The wider field in the CFL doesn't make it better...it just means you can throw the ball 35 yards for a 1 yard completion.

3 downs doesn't make it better...it just means there is one less down to get 10 yards. "Oh but that means there's more passing, less running, therefore making it more exciting!" No, the QB's are so bad that it means there are more 2 and outs, and a lot more punting. What a snooze-fest.

There are 8 teams in the entire league...every team has a one-in-eight chance of winning the Gay Cup every single year. Although, apparently there will be 9 teams again this season, as Ottawa is re-entering the league for the 87th time. Furthermore, the last time there were 9 teams, including Ottawa, two teams HAD THE SAME NAME. EMBARRASSING!

It is not Canada's game. It is Saskatchewan's game. Let them have it...what a terrible league.

CFL sucks.

Yup. Tried doing this on two vacations and got bored out of my mind after 2 days. I hated Cancun and Sharm El Sheikh because getting drunk and laying on the beach were the only things to do there. When given the choice between going to Montreal for $700 round trip or Cancun for the same price I will always without a doubt chose Montreal.

Amateur porn >>>>>>> Pro stuff.

Nothing more annoying than watching some (usually fake, bimbo looking) dumb broad make ######ed faces and hearing her scream like she's having a 5 hour climax that sounds like a cross between a seal clubbing and someone cheering on a UFC fight.

Blah. Gross.
