Each of mine had windows drivers that installed after the update to 11 when they were first connected via USB. Prior to those drivers being installed, it would produce a phone not recognized error.

wtf were they thinking with this layout? it's garbage (my opinion anyway)

Luckily I only use iTunes for my playlists and they didn't delete them because iTunes looks terrible now.

It's really easy to go back to the old layout.
View > Show Sidebar
View > Show Column Browser

I really really like the "Play Next" feature.

I just bought a couple albums and the songs don't show up in my library. It's in the purchased folder and saved properly on the computer (ie. itunes/music/...) but won't show in my library. Anyone having this problem as well and any way to correct. Thanks.

Is there a reason I can't turn on the column browser? The option is greyed out to me. Not a huge fan of current setup as it's a little slow to click around with it (probably my computer sucking but still...)

I think Column Browser is only available in the Songs view, which is not the default IIRC

So far I'm finding the program much more sluggish than before. It would completely lock up in the iTunes store multiple times before being able to get to the album I wanted.

Is there any easy way to re-install iTunes 10 and keep your existing library? I tried but it claims since my library was saved with a more recent iTunes version, it couldn't open.

I find iTunes 11 much more frustrating for what I tend to use it for.

Couldn't you export all your songs to a folder, reinstall 10, re-import said songs, then delete said folder?

Not sure if that would work, just going off the top of my head here.

What is happening to my album cover art? At first a few were missing, but it seems each day, more and more are gone.

If you right-click on an album and choose "get album artwork" then the artwork appears. To save time you can select more than one album at a time. I just did it for 12 albums and it works for 75% of them.

I found that selecting albums with missing artwork in Albums view, then using the applescript "Re-Embed Artwork" (http://dougscripts.com/itunes/script...reembedartwork) worked for me. Much quicker than re-adding them one by one.
