Yeah, I find you can usually get at least a point because "god mode" does seem to ease up a bit in the third. Almost all of my OT losses (all but one I think) are the result of playing CPU games, struggling may way through to get the thing into overtime, and then being totally unable to score on the CPU goalie in the shootout.

At one point I spent 3 hours straight just doing shootout mode with goalie control to see if I could figure it out. During that time I won 2 shootouts total. If there's some secret to it, I don't know what it is.

Yeah, I have a hard time with the CPU on shootouts, in games I can usually put up a minimum of 3 goals. Last night I beat Carolina 6-2. The sad thing is every single goal I scored was with one of my dmen.

I love Rich Peverly. The guy is just clutch. No BS but the guy has one of the best shots in the game. Everything goes in for this guy. He has 14 goals for me playing on my third line and penalty kill and he was gone for 49 games.

Was down 2-0 against Tampa, and with 8 minutes left he scores, Myers ties it on a PS, then Rich scores the winner with 30 seconds left from basically the goal line (puts it top cheddar too!).

Yeah. Except playing the computer is an automatic win. We do have a member in this league that loves to quit against players though!

The worst thing about leagues like this is the losers like you, you know, the guys you play online and they quit the game as soon as you score on them.

Ahhh turned out to be a costly week to be away 0-6 period thanks to my wonderful computer. Now in jeopardy of playoff race which wasn't a concern when I left. Damn you EA!!!!! Lol
