how do you sign free agents? we tried to last period but the person didnt come to our team during this advance..

Can't sign free agents, we're too far into the sesason. Though if someone knows how to sign your existing players to a contract extension I'd like to know that.

is that like a setting? because in real life you can sign free agents until the trade deadline i thought.

I thought we could still sign unrestricted free agents too...just RFA's have a dec 1st deadline. If you tried to sign somebody they could have rejected your offer. Try again with a different term and see if they accept after the advance.

I think it's because you have no space to add contracts. Not entirely sure.

Ya for some reason free agents could only be signed for the first two periods. Will have to wait for the off season now.

LA doesn't have valid roster unable to play his computer

Anyone been keeping tabs on the PS3 forum just to see what's up? I browsed through there. Given they started with the same rosters it's crazy to see how the standings are totally different.

Also, the trades there are NUTS. NJD just acquired Jonathan Toews from I assume Phoenix, and in return Phoenix gets Logan Couture, Patrick Hornqvist, Tomas Kubalik, Stephane Robidas and Radek Dvorak. Worth noting that NJD only ACQUIRED Couture in the first place by trading two first rounders, a 2nd rounder, Carl Hagelin and Mark Fistric to NYR. Earlier NYI traded Giroux, St. Louis, 2 2nd rounders and a prospect for Kassian, Johansen, Fehr and a first.

Just bat#### nuts over on that PS3. Would be cool if there was some way the Cup Champs from each league could play a series against each other to determine the Calgarypuck GM Connected Champion.
