Complete BS. The Broncos set their team up to cater to Orton. He was the starter going into training camp and coming out. You can't change your whole offence 6 games into the season and think its "catered" to Tebow. Elway and Fox never set that team up for Tebow.

Maybe i'm reading the site wrong(never been there before) but I can't find anything that says it takes into account receiver drops. None the less I won't really debate the rank it has for him this past year. I do think there is room for improvement and given the chance we will see that (hopefully) this season

Yes because Indy has had power house defenses with Manning at the helm.

The Pats are a successful team and can put wins together with a garbage D.

A good QB can overcome and carry a team to victory. Same can be said about a good D.

Think anyone gives Trent M'fing Dilfer credit for the Ravens Super Bowl, or does the credit go to their D?

You have to look at each situation and team differently. I give more credit to Denvers D when they won their games then I would Tebow. Can't look at every situation as black and white there Bub.

It wasn't until the last 10min of the game where Denver was behind where it looked like Tebow would start to call his own shots or Fox/Elway would finally let Tebow do what he does...hence the "miracle" come backs.

If Tebow ends up on a team that forms around him rather than him forming around the team it could be an amazing thing.

For me this trade is great because of the huge pressure Elway has put on himself and the organization, and that Tebow may finally get his fair shot - far away from the Bronco train wreck
Whatever you say Skip Bayless.

As a 35 year Bronco fan, I am not ashamed to say that I would much rather watch a team formed around a guy like Elway than around a guy like Tebow, and that's not meant as a slight to Tebow.

Elway created Mile High Magic. He's the original.

So when Tebow went in they had him running the same offense as Orton and didn't have an option offense?

Must have missed that. Odd that he had so many games where he rushed so much and passed so little. Sure seemed like an option offense more than a pro style offense that Orton ran.

Are you kidding me? They completely changed their offense over a 3 game stretch! The entire offense was designed, by Mike McCoy, to cater to Tebow's strengths. By the 3rd start he was running option plays. I don't recall seeing Orton doing that at the begining of the season!

Lowe was part of the Oilers magic in the 80's too....

Denver has two years of "Manning Magic" at most, perhaps two games depending how the neck holds up. Hope its worth it Denver!

On a side note I think we should trade Sven for Jagr. Same reasoning as this topic, future for right now...right?

Sven is actually good at hockey where Tebow is not a good QB.

I really can't figure out if you're serious or just playing the role of devils advocate incredibly poorly

PS.....aren't you the same guy who thinks Irving sucks? So you like Tebow but don't like Irving?

Makes no sense.

So while other teams had their offence solidified before the season began, Tebow gets his "catered" offence 5 games into the season...wow, lucky him.

Bad analogy.

Very, very few people in the NFL world believes Tim Tebow has a bright future as a starting NFL QB.

I would guess that a large number of people in the NHL world believe that Sven Baertschi has a bright future as an NFL player.

Denver will draft another QB this year that will be better than Tebow and who will succeed Manning.

They haven't thrown anything away.

Hahahahahahahahahaha

Tebow will never be a good starting QB in the NFL. He will never win a Super Bowl as a starting QB. He will never lead a team to a Super Bowl game. No chance.

Yes, absolutely losing Tebow is worth even 5 games of Manning. I hated having Tebow as a starting QB. He seems like a nice enough guy. I hope he moves on in his career and finds a niche that doesn't involve him being a starting QB. Thats how he will be successful in the NFL. Don't have any ill will towards him. I just thought it was one Denvers worst moves to acquire that guy. I hated McDaniels for doing it.

Do the Flames win in your world because if so I want in!

I wonder where they project him playing. I would guess DB, but he is European so maybe kicker.

Since you can see into the future, can I please get the lotto numbers too?

I hate McDaniels for drafting a player that single handily turned Denver into a losing record team into the playoffs. I mean what an idiot right?

What else will never happen. Keep going, you are on a roll!

This thread just turned ridiculous....

I will cheer Tim on always, he's my favorite NFL player. To say he is a huge upgrade over Manning, of course not. To say he can't be a starting QB and will never win a championship... To me that is ridiculous the other way. I hope someone will take a chance on him so that Tim can show us who he is. Be it a starting QB, a fullback, whatever. I want him to show us if he can win or not as a QB. Not this 'what if' stuff being thrown around. I want to see him be a starting QB. I think he can improve. If gee doesn't then he will carve out a nice career as a football player. His will to win is second to none.

Prater is still not getting enough love for being the reasons Broncos won the games they did this year.
