I've actually heard that him being more concerned with looking like a male swimsuit model isn't the best thing for his throwing motion. Too much bulk slows down how quick he can get rid of it, and it didn't help his accuracy. But that was from his Cleveland days.

God it sucks being a dolphins fan. 6-10 last year is looking like a good season compared to what we will be up against this year. 2 to 4 wins this year might be on the horizon.
Jeff Ireland has to go, no one respects him. What a disaster!

Jason Cole, although not naming a source but seems to be what he is said to be hearing A Smith will not sign with the Dolphins unless the Niners sign Manning. Even if the Dolphins offer more than the Niners, Smith wants to be in California. In other words, he wants to swallow his pride and win.

The New England Patriots have signed former Broncos tight end Daniel Fells to a three-year deal, per a league source.

From the players side of things one of the biggest questionable signings is Tolbert just agreeing to 4 years in Carolina. That's way too many carries to split to make Tolbert, Stewart and Williams happy

Well appears like Peyton is a Bronco. So I will be the first to say it: thanks Tim for what you did last season, best of luck in the future. Wherever you end up prove the haters wrong

Adam Schefter @AdamSchefter From @mortreport and me: Peyton Manning will become the next quarterback of the Denver Broncos, barring unexpected snag in contract talks.

According to a tweet by ESPN's Louise Cornetta over the weekend, John Clayton reportedly said on ESPN radio over the weekend that if the Denver Broncos end up signing quarterback Peyton Manning that "the rumor circulating" is that the Broncos would then trade quarterback Tim Tebow to the Patriots
http://www.boston.com/sports/blogs/t...tim_tebow.html
That would make me barf...more than once.

Now to find out if the 49ers can mend fences with Alex Smith.
Or perhaps Harbaugh will go after Josh Johnson.

Lifetime Suspension

A contract between the two sides is expected to be a formality. Broncos vice president of football operations John Elway and Manning first discussed the parameters of a five-year, $95 million contract during their March 9 meeting in Denver, the first time the former Indianapolis Colts quarterback visited a team during his free agency.
|
Quote:
Elway then told Manning during the Friday, March 16 trip to Durham, N.C. -- where the quarterback has done the majority of his training -- that he wanted to finalize a contract "fair to both sides." Neither side expects any hangups.
|
Quote:
However, details such as guaranteed money, structure of the deal and contract language designed to protect the Broncos in the event of Manning's inability to perform due to his prior neck surgeries all will be addressed in the contract, sources said.

According to reports, the 3 year contract for Alex Smith has always been on the table available for Alex to sign. 3 years, $24 million, $10 million guaranteed.
And Smith has decided to part ways with his agent.

So what would Tebow become in New England? Another short yardage receiver like Welker?
