Alex Marvez is reporting the Chiefs are interested in signing Brady Quinn.
Wimbley is a good player. Someone will nab him in short order.

They should just keep Tyler Palko...I guess they really weren't serious when they said they wanted competition for Matt Cassel.
Brady Quinn is awful, worse than Palko. Ricky Stanzi can't possibly be worse than him.
I guess the Chiefs are happy being a last place team. I'm mad if this happens, waste of money on a guy who's only skill is holding a clip board and wearing a hat.

The Chiefs did sign Eric Winston. That is a good signing, exactly the piece they needed. Brady Quinn though, I still can't believe they gave him a contract.

great signing for NE
they haven't had a real deep threat since Moss, Lloyd is going to open up even more over the middle for Gronk and Hernandez

Yup Lloyd will be a great weapon and with Anthony Gonzalez also signing you have to wonder if Mr Ochocinco will be around much longer.

I don't see why the Patriots would want anything to do with him.
Gonzalez when healthy with the Colts always looked good, his biggest concern is just staying healthy. He could be a big fantasy sleeper if he is.

Being reported Manning has not given teams a deadline of Monday or Tuesday for his decision at all. He's certainly done this the right way, his goodbye to the Colts, how he's going about talking with interested teams and the class he continues to show. It's refreshing in a way compared to Brett Favre, and Lebron in years past but there's starting to be that backlash due to the 24/7 sports media and the amount of "sources out there". I really hope he chooses a team soon just so we can get back to focusing on his play on the field.

Here's an interesting way to start your Sunday morning: 49ers free-agent QB Alex Smith is visiting today with the Miami Dolphins.

Weren't they and Matt Flynn supposedly close on a deal?

This is exactly what Lebron did...the only difference is i dont expect manning to hold a "decision" show to announce his intentions. There is nothing wrong with what he is doing, but lets not kid ourselves here....he is not acting with any more or less class than james did.
Favre never shopped himself from team to team...with him it was always whether he would play again or not but it was always obvious which team it would be.

Not quite sure what you mean... James ripped the heart of his fanbase out on national TV.
To even remotely compare him to what Peyton is doing... is stupid.

Seattle is an option for Flynn but as of now have only offered him competition for the #1 job where in Miami he would be #1. I still believe that Flynn will get signed by Miami, just a question of when.

Considering Smith and Manning have the same agent, you have to wonder if something is up. It might be positioning by Alex Smith bur it also could mean the 49ers are all in on Peyton.

I think most people would have understood Transplants sentence where he says "expect for the decision show" to pretty much address that issue 100%.

Ummm...he shopped his service around to many teams before making his decision known...pretty clear that is what Manning is doing, and as stated before, other than announcing his choice on some lame national tv "look at me" episode, its the same thing...and there is nothing wrong with it, but it doesnt ooze "class" in any way more than any other FA does the same thing.
