Okay enough HotHotHot creaming over Apple.

Does iOS 5 get released tomorrow?

My parents head back east Wednesday and I'd like to set up 5 for them on their iPad and my moms new iPhone (how did she get a better phone then me?) before they leave.

You need to cut the crap and admit you're obsessed with Apple as much as anyone.

That "mom's iPad" part was sneaky, everyone completely believed you.

Very true. They tend to roll those things out of the course of the day so their servers don't get too hammered all at once.

Pretty cool Siri demo. The guy hits the button every time which doesn't seem necessary. Some points that I thought were cool:
- it doesn't register things like "umm" and "ahh" in speech
- It has multiple voices
- I was worried the speed was increased for the apple demonstration, but it seems surprisingly quick
- Seems to handle the different accents pretty well

I put iOS 5 on my wife's iPhone4 last night. Very slick and speedy. Hopefully there is a Siri hack to allow it to work on the iphone4

Anyone else having problems with audiobooks on iOS5?

Basically any mp3 I flag as an audiobook becomes unplayable.. it'll play the first time, but any time after that it won't play at all, I select it and it flips to the playback screen, then flips right back to the selection screen.

Works fine if I change it to music.

I got my MacBook from apple store because of company discount. It takes a while to get your stuff, took like 2 weeks. Same for my iMac but that came a little quicker.

My MacBook travelled to places I've never been the route it took was strange as heck.
