Uh oh.

Just as one True American Hero releases his "LONG FORM BIRTH CERTIFICATE" to prove his citizenship, another one announces his wish to renounce his:

http://ca.news.yahoo.com/superman-th...110947657.html

The Man of Steel, in the latest issue of Action Comics which hit newsstands on Wednesday, said he intends to renounce his U.S. citizenship in a speech before the United Nations.

This is interesting news. I'm going to take a wild guess here and say that the same people frothing at the mouth about the Black Man's birth certificate will be up in arms about this latest Hollywood Homo Commie Trick to take away Superman from his rightful owners.

I was just interested in seeing his birth certificate. It has apparently been provided. Obviously some people will still say its fake or it could of been forged.

Finally Obama was always in control of this. He could of produced this long form 2 years ago if he thought it would help him politically. He obviously seen more benefit in letting the questions stay out there. His handlers painted anyone who asked the question as racist and anyone who had an association with them as racist as well. Obama's handlers have been nothing but, masterful at playing the race card. It has been a great distraction for Obama as he spent and regulated America down the toilet.
In light of the above, I demand to see George Bush's birth certificate. It has nothing to do with his skin colour, and I am just interested in seeing it, although it could obviously have been faked or forged. And for those of you that say no to this, you obviously haven't stopped to listen to all the birther's questions and reasoning. In fact George Bush has barely, if ever, brought up anything about his birth certificate. He was always in control of this and he could have produced it if he thought it would help him politically. He obviously has seen more benefit in not having any questions asked about it out there. It would have been a distraction for him if that was the case in his war from Iraq.

I demand to see Superman's as well. And Bill Clinton's as well as that.

I never said I supported the birthers... at all. I haven't heard once a mention of his skin color from the birthers and the only people bringing it up are on the opposite side. I can't even get inolved with either argument because they are both so freaking stupid.

Well that settles it. They haven't come out and said it's about the color of his skin, so it can't be.

A bunch of white conservative rednecks and conspiracy theorists demand that a black guy go above and beyond the legal requirements to prove that he is actually an American, and it has nothing at all to do with the color of his skin. Nothing.

You are right. That this whole thing is motivated by racism is a stupid argument.

In other news, I found some dog turds on the carpet this morning. I can't figure out where they came from. My dog didn't even mention it.

Besides, you haven't addressed the biggest howler of all. It doesn't even matter where he was born, because the requirement is "born a U.S. Citizen." Which, even if he was born on Mars, he is. Because his mother is a U.S. Citizen.

Quite honestly, there is a subtext here: a guy with a funny name and dark skin is being subjected to more rigorous scrutiny over the notion of his birth and citizenship than any other presidential candidate in history. And you don't think that's racist? I don't think you know what racism is.
I know what racism is. So there is no need to go there at all.

Im sure some "racists" were only asking to see his birth cerificate because of the color of his skin.

As ive already said in this thread I was just interested in seeing it. It had nothing to do with the color of his skin.

Lumping everyone who was interested in seeing the birth certificate in the "racist" pile is lame.

I wouldnt even call myself a "birther" Ive been reading about the controversy for a while on another forum and was just interested to see if Obama would provide it and what would happen.

As far as I'm aware no president has ever been asked to prove his place of Birth, how he got into Harvard etc to the vox populi except the black guy, if it walks like a duck and quacks like one etc.

I should point out any time a black guy does well in intellectual/academic circles and then courts controversy in the states some inbred 'tard brings up affirmative action, and yet when they do well in sport no one ever assumes it.

Im not even overally familar on this subject. Like I said in my edit above ive seen threads about this on other forums. I was interested to see what would happen and if Obama would provide his birth certificate.

Like ive also said in this thread I dont even really care where Obama was
born, because I dont think its a big deal.

I'm not accusing anyone here of racism, but this has never happened before. Is it just a coincidence that he happens to be black?
According to the Birthers a certificate of live birth isn't enough proof to even get a passport. The reason is the certificate only records information about a new born and can be filled out without any knowledge of where the child was born. If you lived in a remote location, or used a midwife, or delivered while out of the country you could go to a doctor and get a certificate of live birth. That form along with proof of location of birth and/or identification of the parents would be enough to get a birth certificate.

Obama's mother is thought to have been as young as 17 when she had Obama. According to State law at the time a child born to her out of country would have the same citizenship as his Father. Don't know if that was true but, it is what they were saying.

The question of John McCain's eligibilty was raised the first time he decided to run for President. His parents were both Americans but, he was born out of country on a military base. Obviously some then reasoned that natural born meant on US soil. When it was pointed out that a US base anywhere was US soil the question died.

The current sitting President of the United States was born in the United States and is an American citizen. Anyone who still thinks otherwise should consider seeking psychiatric help.
