Aaaand these ended up being the only 3 I got the whole night. All that effort to make the place look good, wasted.

And once again zero kids at our hilltop aerie southwest of the city.

Every year we have something waiting, just to make sure we're not caught with our shorts around our ankles since there ARE kids within a half mile. But they all go into town instead of grazing on lonely far-flung country outposts.

More for us!!!

Had just over 40 kids. The cutest one was about 3 or 4 years old. He tried to give me a candy back in exchange for the candy I gave him.

It was a box of Dots, so maybe he was just trying to get rid of them. Either way, it was so precious.

Had about 15, and we gave full sized candy bars! These kids have no idea what they missed

We had 57 kids in Evergreen. Happy I didn't give out full sized chocolate bars because that number would have been much higher once the word hit the street.

We had about 20 in West Hillhurst. My buddy who lives on the other side of the alley said he had over 200. I guess that street (3rd st) was all lit up with peoples porch lights etc on. Kids just hung out there. We only had 50 bars because last year we had maybe 10...good thing we didnt get 200!!

Across the street from us had way more as only 2 houses (ours and one more at the other end) were participating. Whereas there was 12 in a row across the street.

I think we had about 6 groups of kids....

Anyone want a massive bowl of candy? The woman went a little overboard, had a freak out on Saturday that we didn't have enough candy, so she went out and doubled up on the original amount. 6 groups of kids....really? We used to have hundreds at my parents house, times they are a changing I guess.

Only had 47 in Disco Ridge. Seems like we were down significantly from last year. Why so few kids when it was such great weather?

Didn't you just move there like two months ago?

Yep. Going off of what the neighbour said. Apparently last year they had 80 and the year before they had 150.

We only had 30 in Evergreen. Last year we had close to 100, so we have lots and lots of candy leftover...

Had 50 kids in Paradise Canyon in Lethbridge. The gf went out and bought play dough from costco and it was a hit! Once the word hit the street we had little ones skipping houses to get to my place, go figure. Of course the 15 year old natives who came around at about 8:30 probably expecting a good haul from the neighbourhood weren't very impressed haha

That's weird. With the nice weather I thought this year was going to be a banner year. I should check last year's thread but I may have had a few less than last year as well.

Yeah, now I have to find a way to dispose of all this candy. Luckily the neighbours have a dog, so I can just dump most of it over the fence.
