BTW, there's no band watching tonight, and I'm kind of an idiot, BUT - it's not my fault! My buddy said Oct 24 at midnight, which when I put it in my blackberry is TONIGHT, as midnight is the new day, and thus the 24th - but what he meant was midnight tomorrow, which is why he's playing so late because of the hockey game. So now 4x4 is all pumped up for the Police, and instead the only police we'd be likely to see are the ones taking us in for drunk and disorderly.

I think watching those Police in action doing that would be more entertaining than your friend's version. Especially if they bust out the taser.

No way, Al's a huge Stewart Copeland fan, and while he's not in the same league, he's a pretty damn good drummer. I have no idea how the other guys in the band are, but he generally doesn't join any bands with strugglers in them. I expect they'll be pretty good, and as a bonus - you don't have to watch the real Sting and want to punch him for getting all mellow and boring.
