Yes they were. I can't listen to Mike Greenberg at all. Can't even listen to their regular radio show. His delivery is unlistenable IMO.

Yeah, with all the talent in the ESPN pool, you would think they'd be able to find one more good play by play guy to handle that one extra Monday Night Football game every year.

I can't think of any ESPN play-by-play people who are any good.
For example, their NBA coverage is a shadow of what it was during the NBC days. And the Sunday night baseball game with Miller, Morgan and Phillips is so bad now that I had to start watching that game in french.

I'm leaning towards Rivers since Baltimore's D isn't the same since their defensive coordinator left.
Any opinions?

I'm starting Rivers myself. Brodie Croyle was able to complete 67% of his passes against the Ravens defense last week. He also put up like a 116 QB rating.
Farve in the past would be a no brainer, but traditionally he has struggled in Domes. Even when he was in his prime.

I'd say Rivers over Favre....maybe I'm biased.
I wonder if Baskett should be picked up as a fantasy option now?

I went and did just that after I read your post. I had to drop Glen Coffee to get him, so I really hummed and hawed about it. I figured that nobody else would pick up Coffee in the mean time and if Gore goes down I'll have to be quick on the draw.

Niners have asked for a face-to-face meeting with Parker and Crabtree.
Deion is not invited....

I wonder if that money goes straight to a select group of Vegas Bookies.
Teams should not have to disclose injury status, plain and simple.

Those Vegas bookies probably already scored huge when they knew about Favre and no one else did.

I wonder if Mangini would have been fined if he didn't have an NFL job this year.

I'm humming and hawing over it as we speak haha. I don't think I'll pull the trigger though, I just picked up Kenny Britt to replace Gonzalez and I just can't bring myself to release him for Baskett...which means he'll probably be a stud and I'll regret it the rest of the season.

Every time they show him in the booth he creeps me out too. Why does he hold his hands up by his chest?? He looks like a combination of Donnie Darko and Mr. Burns. Creepy...

Good call rubecube! I am happy with signing Baskett. He should help us the next month or so while Gonzalez is out.
Indy also had tried out David Patten, Chad Jackson and DJ Hackett on Wednesday (prior to signing Baskett).

I completely disagree. I wish the NHL would do the same.

This Baskett thing kind of makes me smile. As an Eagles fan, I can't remember the last time we were bitching about having too many good WRs.
