Gotta go with pass. Guys, like women, have to admit to feelings after long term. Quick lay girl that you now want to talk to? Sure, no problem. Former long term lady friend? Err, I say pass. No way that works out well in the long run for anyone.
Plus, you know, bros before ho's

1. something crazy/f**cked/s**itty/intense happens, the story gets told over beers at the next appropriate moment (this could be 5 minutes or 5 months depending on the location and intensity).
2. as long as you are friends, everything is fair game in the pointing out of shortcomings. This excludes A-BOMBS; which are those areas that you just don’t go, EVER!
3. third and most important: if you break "The Code", no drama, no grudge, just move on and realize that you can still be acquaintances. I have always believed that being civil makes the world go round.

me and my friends play a game called the game of life
Rules:
-You must agree to play the game for life before hearing the rules
-You can never answer a question with a sentence that contains the word "mine" when the question is posed by someone playing the game.
-If you answer a question with "mine" from a person who is not playing the game it doesnt count, although if a person playing the game overhears they can call you on it.
-All offenses require you to stop whatever you are doing and do 10 push ups.
Sample: "who's shoes are those?"......."Mine".......10 push ups.
This game can become hilarious. I was once got while driving. I pulled over stopped the car and got out to do my ten.

I was talking about a girl someone's interested in, but hasn't touched yet.
Of course, bros before ho's
Otherwise the whole system breaks down....

Oh the Bro Code. If you haven't read this book you definitely should, it's hilarious but also seriously informative. Most of the things on there are basic and should be instinctual to most 'bros'.
Here's some things that my boys and I do:
never, under any circumstance, should you make your buddy look like a ###### when he's trying to pick up, unless of course the lady interest is of the fugly variety which in any case you should have already prevented your friend from approaching said lady.
never rat on friends. If a buddy is doing something he shouldn't like say cheating, it's not your place or job to inform the gf. You may make your opinions known to your friend but you never rat on your friend.
take one for the team. If a friend picks up a hottie but her friend is fugly and lonely, then you step up to bat and entertain the friend so your buddy can score, seduce the fugly girl if you have to but only if your friend is almost certainly closing. and of course, the one doing the scoring has to pick up the tab as well.
if one of the boys is going through a particularly tough break up, then you drop whatever it is you're doing to be there for your friend and to provide copious amounts of alcohol. also, to encourage the friend to live life by these words of wisdom: the best way to get over someone is to get under someone else.
and this one is a biggie for us. NEVER, under any circumstances, sleep with a friend's ex gf. regardless of how hot she may be, or how much she may want you or how drunk you are at the time, NEVER sleep with the friend's ex.
same goes for family members, unless of course you check with the friend and go into it with the full intention of something serious. but as a general rule, sisters, cousins, moms are off limits. step moms are okay, but only if they initiate.

What's with all this "don't sleep with a friends ex" stuff I'm seeing? I didn't think it was that big of a deal, honestly. If they're broken up who cares?

That just sets the table for potential drama within your group of friends. It's just easier to steer clear of it and abide by the bro code.

We prefer to live in the land of lawlessness and no rules. Everything is fair game as long as it doesn't break laws or cause massive skull trauma.

The rule of six applies:
If he dumps her, wait six days. If she dumps him, wait six months.

I know a few people have mentioned it, but seriously, the Bro Code is all you need.
An example:
Ariticle 1:
Bros before Hoes.
The bond between two men is stronger than the bond between a man and a woman, because on average, men are stronger than women, that's just science.

Emotionally stronger? Niot sure what the code has to do with physical strength unless you're beating the crap out of women, or trying not to get your ass whipped by a stronger bro. Very interesting!

Are you American or something? Who walks around the house with shoes on; unless you are going right back outside?
