All due respect Photon, in a thread that is requesting feedback, for Ken to jump on Madman like that was needless and unnecessary. I stand by my requiest for an apology from him.
And nothing against Ken0042 as a mod, this is just to clarify a particularly over the top reaction in my opinion.

Meh, you are entitled to your opinion, I disagree. And if Madman wants an apology he can PM ken about it. Lets not derail the thread any further.

Ummm, why do the 'thanks' things keep disappearing and coming back everytime I go from one thread to another?

			Meh?
Thanks Photon. Glad my contributions to this site over the years warrant that.

Okay. I wear glasses. I am also blonde. And I had to think very hard about making this post because of the above two facts. Then I rechecked my double checking just to be sure but I cannot, for the life of me, find a "thumbs-up" button anywhere, on any post. And there certainly isn't one in the bottom right corner.

I'd ask if I was losing my mind, but that's a loaded question, so how about, "What am I missing?" or "Help. Please."

^^ It's in the bottom right of a persons post (excluding your own posts), located right in that series of buttons in everyones posts. There's the "Quote" button, then the multi quote and quick reply posts, right after that, there should be a little button with a thumbs up sign that says "Thanks" on it. I hope that helps you. Right down here\

Did a screen shot of your post to show where it should be

Meh is about the severity of the issue in my opinion, not about my personal opinion of you.

There really isn't that much drama in this issue.

As to why you don't see a thanks button, users in the "awaiting email confirmation" group can't see it and PYroMaNiaC you are in that group.. confirm your email and you'll see it.

And where does one go to confirm their email? I attempted to do so under the UserCP, but still nothing.

Under your CP there's an edit email and password feature, you should be able to use that.

This is a pretty good feature. I like it. It makes it so you can agree with a poster's thoughts without cluttering up the thread with "me too" responses.
But as of right now, it's a bit cluttered. Why don't we just include the thanks in the post itself, rather than make it look like a new post. An example from my home forum:
http://www.wordforge.net/showthread.php?t=68598
(Except those say "XPoster agrees" instead of "Thanks")

Well, that was a strange temper tantrum... but back on topic... not sure what I think of the Thanks feature... it's a good way to give feedback, but then as mentioned already it is pretty big and definitely takes away from the actual content of the threads...
