Plus the Riaders are set up to fail with Skeletor pulling the puppet strings on Kiffen.
Other than that game, I like the Seahawks over the Niners. The Giants over the Rams on the road is tempting as well.

I was thinking the same thing. The Chiefs are not a good team, but they were disciplined, and looked a lot better organized than the Raiders did in week one. Plus when else are you going to be able to use the Chiefs in a survivor pool?

IF I were still alive....
I think its a slam dunk that Tampa wins this week....also think Arizona will have a field day against the fins.
But what the hell do I know?

I think you can still change your pick.

So how many of you fell for my suggestion to take the Chiefs? Down 6-0 and their using their 3rd string QB now! I picked the Giants thinking this is the easiest game they could get all year. I wouldn't pick the Chiefs against anyone...not with that offence.

Well, I won't blame you. I picked them before reading the thread. I thought they played hard last weak and at least went down fighting. Not to mention they're playing the train wreck that is the Raiders.
I'm just wondering what kind of maroon takes the Chiefs rather than the Packers in this thing this week? What the hell was I thinking?
BTW...they've actually used their 4th string QB in this game too.

Look for it to be a low scoring game, and those can go either way. (I'm calling my Niners, 13-9)

Other than the low scoring part - WOOT!

It's too late but it's okay as the Giants won anyways. I was going to pick Denver over San Diego and save the NY Giants' pick for later. Oh well... at least I survived the 2nd week either way.

And you didn't have to sweat it out like you would've with Denver.

No kidding. Denver won because of a bad call by referee late in the game. It should have been ruled fumble but the ref blew the whistle already before a Chargers' player recovered the ball. I have no clue why the whistle was blown so quick. I guess NFL is not much better than the CFL.
Oh yeah, another reason Denver won was because of the gutsy call by Coach Shanahan going for two-point conversion.

It's looking like a potentially devastating weekend for the ol' CP Survivor Pool!

Why did i even bother checking the injury list before I made my pick? All week, I have the Tennessee Titans pegged to win against Houston but I saw who is the QB for Titans, i just changed my pick to Broncos. Titans already won. Broncos is ahead by 7-0 but only in the first quarter. Next time(if Broncos wins) I will just play by my instinct.

Wow, got lucky this week. My initial pick was Atlanta which I should have just stuck to, but last minute I switched it to Buffalo which I thought would be a slam dunk. Turned out to be more like an ugly 3 point prayer that bounced around the rim but let me live to play another week.

Great comeback by the Bills! I had Buffalo as my pick but I also had money on Oakland +9.5, so the end result was just perfect!
