Let's help our CP family....
Here's a we can all help several members of our extended CP family....even if you don't shop at the grocery store or live in Canada. We can help Sample00's daughter go to her French immersion program in Quebec next year by buying the gift cards she has to sell,right? WE can also help OilersBaby and Oilfan#81's family by donating the cards to THEM. As most of you know their dad is very ill and anything we can do will help. Just PM Sample00... I believe the denominations of the cards are $25 and $100 (oops Hurricane Ike has me a little stressed!). So guys you don't have to BE there to help..and that's what it's all about isn't it?

So if I have this straight, we can buy phone sex cards from Sample00 to help his daughter learn french, and then donate the cards to Oilerfan#81 and Oilersbaby's family to help their sick father. But what I don't get is how do phone the sex cards help their sick father? And does missdpuck run the phone sex service to help pay her grocery bills? Maybe I don't have this straight.

Why would I want to donate cards to OilersBaby or Oilfan#81? Usually I buy cards, sign them, then give them to people. It's a little more personal then just donating a bunch of cards, but I'm old fashioned.

I don't know what the issue is.
Sample00's daughter is selling Sobeys/IGA gift certificates as a fundraiser for a class trip to Quebec. See thread:

From what I read, I don't think OilersFan81 or OilersBaby need grocery money as much as they need our prayers (to whatever deity you may or may not believe in). But I think the OP's heart was in the right place.

This is the first time I read this thread. Missdpuck, I appreciate where your heart is but my family doesn't have any need for the cards/grocery money. I'm confused as well, lol.
I think something like a shelter/food bank would be a good idea for those cards so people who need groceries would have access to them.
