Elf was on TV yesterday. That one has got to be one of the quickest movies to hit my classic list.

It's a Wonderful Life
Rudolph
The Grinch

I didn't find Elf funny at all. Could be because the person I watching it with would say "Ooh, this is my favorite part!" and then proceed to say the lines before the movie would.

love it. The band geek in me (from a past life) loves this scene too:

I'm right upset that the CBC is showing the edited version of Christmas Vaction tonight (yes we are watching that right now!)

I'd have to go with the Muppet Family Christmas (is what I think it's actually called -- mentioned several times already), Christmas Vacation and White Christmas. Quite a range there. Unfortunately, I haven't seen the Muppet one in about 9 years. I gotta buy that one. `

I'm thinking triple xmas.

In seriousness like many above, the one I remember most is a muppet's christmas carol.

I can't believe it took to page 2 for someone to mention this. I believe George Lucas said if he had the time and a sledgehammer he'd personally go destroy every bootlegged copy himself.

I never thought Chewy would be re-united with his family in time for Life Day though, what an ending!

Rudolph is the ultimate for me. Garfield and Scrooged sharing penultimate position, and Bad Santa being my most recent favorite in my personal progression towards grinchdom.

"It's a Wonderful Life" with James Stewart and Donna Reed. Real oldie, but about the only one I would watch if it was shown every year.

I gotta say, watching TV today, CGI Rudolph blows. Claymation Rudolf is the only way to go.
