Maybe this is a blockbuster deal, more than just Tanev and Bread.
They all have NMCs.

Agree screw Toronto. I don’t want anything to do with the possibility of making them better. And I don’t like the idea of dealing with Treliving.

You just have to remember trade deadline acquisitions rarely actually help teams win the Stanley Cup.

Trading with our rivals at the deadline may in fact help screw them.

Why would Coleman be involved?

Cowan and Neimala for Tanev (50%) is fair.

I thought Easton Cowan was a left shooting RW when drafted? London has him listed as a LW. Has something changed? Of their top prospects I thought Minten was the center of note?

And if my memory is right, our GM Fletcher moved to Toronto only to screw our rookie GM Risebrough by getting Gilmour for Leeman and a bag of pucks.

Do not let history repeat.

Me neither. Especially if he tries to get Conny to take back any of his mistakes signing.

Yes you are right. SOmehow I was looking at him and saw C. He is listed on HockeyDB as a left shooting RW.

We will never acquire a C. The curse simply won't allow it.

Acquiring Cowan would mean that we would now have 5 guys from the top 80 of the 2023 draft.

I think Conroy has more managing experience than Risebrough. When Treliving calls to inquire about Tanev, I hope Conny talks his ears off about anything and nothing.

That would be a great return if we could do that.

If we had kept Gilmour we might have won a few more Cups.

Oh, definitely.

Conroy: 9 years as assistant GM before being promoted to GM.
Risebrough: Two years as assistant coach, one year as assistant GM, one year as head coach, then he was made coach/GM and was a disaster at both jobs.
