Like hunt down old twitter posts? I can try. I don't have them queued up and ready to go. It's just sort of known in Canucks fandom to not trust what he posts.

Just to add to that thought. If I remember correctly, Tre mentioned that he had a yearly budget for the entire operation. I assume it included everything that was Flames/Wranglers/Rapid City related including coaches, scouts, management, buy-outs, SPCs, media, marketing, and events. It was completely up to him what and how he spent his budget on.

I recall the same thing.

Just noticing Treliving has 9 draft picks this year that must just be burning a hole in his pocket.
Give us TOR 2024 1st, NYI 2024 3rd, CGY 2024 5th and Reaves
For Tanev 50% retained ( they can extend him)

Let Toronto fans sit till the 4th round for there first pick

Conroy has sold 3 really good trades so far. I'm confident in his "Selling off" of assets.

Next up, what kind of buyer is he going to be? I'm sure that answer comes in the summer. But I still think with the half and half re-tool/sell off, he may swing on a player before the deadline.

On the 32 thoughts podcast Marek asked Friedman about Vladar and Friedman said he hasn't heard anything about him (in trade talks).

This was after Friedman reiterated said the Flames are being careful with Markstrom and nothing has been even close to happening.

I'm actually hopeful on a 1st or a 1st equivalent for Tanev at this point.

Pat Steinberg was on Donnie and Dhali yesterday and he said he wouldn't be shocked if Tanev is on the move before the end of the All Star Break.

With the Sens depth at center and the number of young dmen they have that can’t seem to figure out how to play defence I wonder if there is a Tanev for Greig deal that could be worked out. Sign and trade for the Sens. A trade like that seems like it could make sense for both teams.

Dahli seems pretty well connected, not to mention he's a hoot to watch.

Conroy made comments about getting a little worried with injuries after Greer went down so that could be foreshadowing to him looking to make the Tanev move very soon.

He said 10 teams are in on Tanev including a new one that was trying to get creative to make a deal.

He didn’t say more because I think it was not the Nucks, and he really wants Tanev to be added there.

Do we have the cap space for that? Would Toronto make that trade? Seems lopsided for us.

Why wouldn’t Ottawa just sign him in the offseason and not give up assets ?

Makes no sense to me any Ottawa rumours

No no, they need him

Ive wondered the same thing, but it does seem like whoever acquires him are gonna do everything they can to re-sign him. So, if they’re that desperate to grab him, they have Boston’s 1st.

So the market seems to say 1st picks are available for small upgrade

Tanev should return a 1st easy

The value to them would be whatever the value of signing him during the season. In the offseason they could try and fail spectacularly. If they signed him as part of the trade they would be assured of having him.

Marty Biron ranks Markstrom the best goalie available and think he moves before the deadline.

This would really change the complexion of the Flames. For one it would free up a lot of cap. For two, we would start losing games.
