They do, but I got a degree and work in the clerical field. I don't do donut shop work anymore. I may end up having to though if I can't find anything though. 149 other people against you is pretty hard to beat.

You do know they may not start me out as a server, right? I may have to work my way up from hostess, to busser, and then to server.

Maybe it's YOU? Maybe it's your attitude? 6 months without a job, I think these employers are just telling YOU there's a lot of other candidates, to let you down easily.

It's called time when I am not on here IDIOT. You act like there's 8 hours of jobs I can apply to every second of the day when there's barely anything new everyday. I am applying, but it's maybe one or 2 a day if that, if there are any. Some jobs I am not qualified for either or it's really far away.

Imagine the poor sap at the office that decides to touch Spring1's XL Bottle of Ranch Dressing in the staff fridge?

You consistently treat servers like crap, but screwing a soon to be former employer a little qualifies as "not very nice" to you. Good to know.

Maybe had you put as much time into your food posts over the last 10 years, and used that time to better yourself for your career, you wouldn't have got fired?

Well, if your previous $0.35 raise is any indication, I'm sure management will instantly recognize your potential and make sure you start climbing the ranks in no time!

Springs 1 review of 'The Hunger Games' - Left hungry, not enough ranch. 0.5/5 stars.

The only thing that weighs 97 and a half pounds is the amount of ranch you consume monthly.

No, one mentioned it over the phone that she wanted to interview me. I turned it down because she wanted people to go to HOUSES to pick up blue prints using YOUR OWN VEHICLE and risking your LIFE doing that, NO AMOUNT OF MONEY PER HOUR IS WORTH THAT CRAP!! They should have a courier service if that's what they want. They neglected to mention that part. You don't know if a customer has a pit bull, risking getting into accidents, someone can pull a gun on you or rape you. She told me before I declined the interview about the 150 people.

You also don't know if you're going to run into an insane lady who wants 26,000 sides of ranch or she'll rant on every website known to man about it.

A lot, but I never was booksmart. The highest I got even on the ACT was a 16. Public school education wasn't good. One class gave us extra points just for writing down objectives for the day and that was MATH class. Another one in Chemistry gave us extra points for film containers for chemistry projects. In other words, just in those 2 examples, I didn't "LEARN" anything by doing those things, did I?

Maybe you should re-think clerical jobs if you're so concerned about your safety. Did you hear about this office shooting in Baton Rouge a few years ago?

http://articles.cnn.com/2009-12-23/j...ks?_s=PM:CRIME

Quote:
A man described as a former employee shot and killed two people and seriously wounded another at a Baton Rouge, Louisiana, construction company before workers wrestled him to the ground, sheriff's officials said.

Dianna Tullier, 44, of Walker, Louisiana, and Cheryl D. Boykin, 55, of Denham Springs, Louisiana were pronounced dead at the scene, officials said. They were both clerical workers in the construction office.
