Put yourself in the cops shoes, you get punched in the face by a guy that is over 300lbs all while you're in your car and the guy is trying to steal your service weapon. What would you do?

If he was white, he'd likely still be alive.

It's easy to judge. I'm pretty ok with thinking it's some serious dumba$$$ery to loot and riot. Be mad, sure, be absolutely outraged. But the rioting and looting? There is no amount of justification for it.

That's just because white people are better behaved, and we know that. Legal system didn't really get a chance to do anything. Media coverage shouldn't matter.

Don't fight with a cop and you wont get shot. sounds like a pretty easy thing to me.

Then let it go to trial and show the evidence that he's innocent.
Not decide behind closed doors that it's all good.

"guy is trying to steal your service weapon"
Didn't know this was proved. Was there an eye witness to this like the several eye witnesses who said they saw Brown with his hands up?

the grand jury decided that there was NOT enough evidence to go to trial.
also people have made up their mind that he's guilty no matter what they have. People were saying the robbery video was photoshopped for god sakes.

Doesn't matter if he did or didn't. Punch a cop and see what happens.

Yeah ... I'm perfectly aware. What I'm trying to say to you is that in this situation, which isn't just some random crime, but an incredibly volatile situation, the guilt or innocence should be decided in the court of law and the evidence made available.
Not behind closed doors.

Guessing the spray pattern would show that at least one shot was taken in the car. Brown tried to get the weapon by all accounts, as soon as someone tries to do that you have every right to shoot to protect your own life as an officer.

Watching it unfold it's just insane; police on the street, burning vehicles, screaming, tear gas. Seems like a sick society that needs some help, the general distrust the people have in the police is worrisome.

I know you're black but this is just an ignorant statement no matter what color you are. White people are not better behaved. They were pulling black people by chains not that long ago.
*Not all white people, but you get what I'm saying. Black people have to start from the bottom in America in almost every situation. Most are morn into poverty or low to middle class. It's no wonder they act out when they feel like they're not being heard.

All evidence available to the grand jury is available to the public as far as I know.

it was a court of law!
I'm done, the cop is guilty and should've been put in the chair!

Saw an interview with one prosecutor, I think, and she said, we didn't become the highest incarceration country by not taking people to trial on conflicting eye witness accounts. I'm paraphrasing, but think that was the gist.

Black people misbehave. We're broke and dumb, it's just a part of America (no sarcasm). I'm trying to separate this from the fact that, maybe, this shouldn't have gone to a grand jury? Which is all I was saying from the beginning.
