Is there a link for the landing fees being waived and Esso donating the fuel? I'm not doubting but it didn't come up on a quick google search and I thought CTV said officers need only pay the fuel cost. But I could have misheard.

My source is an internal Air Canada newsletter but it was posted on the official Facebook page, though it doesn't explicitly say: https://www.facebook.com/aircanada

Quote:
Our employees associated with these charters, both from the operation and behind the scenes, volunteered their support while our industry partners including the associated airport authorities, Imperial Oil, Gate Gourmet and Nav Canada waived their fees and costs associated with these special flights to be able to offer the RCMP transportation at no cost.
On second look, it's all in there:

Nav Canada = air traffic control
associated airport authorities = Toronto/Moncton
Imperial Oil = Esso
Gate Gourmet = catering

Former ERT member here, the guys I worked with and those who are still in the program are a cut above.

No height restriction anymore. Interesting to note that there used to be a height restriction and a height limitation back in the day when equestrian training was part of basic.

Moncton held a "3km For 3 Fathers -RCMP Officers Memorial Fathers day walk/run" today.
Looks like the turn out was pretty amazing:

I know Colberts thing is that he's playing a character, but he always makes fun of Canadian Mounties, pretty harshly too, usually calling them ridiculous.

Although I know it's satire I wasn't a fan of him doing it last week, just a few days after the Moncton shooting. Wish someone on their staff would have been smart enough to say it wasn't a great idea considering recent events.

Quite the opposite. He'll likely rot in a sterile brightly lit corner of a prison where the light never turns off.

Might be worse actually.
