Police Escort in Calgary Today - Who Dat?
About noon on John Laurie - a whole bunch of motorcycle officers shut-down traffic and escorted a few black limos east (towards the airport I assume).
Who famous was in town today?

Stuff like that always happens and you never hear/see anything about it afterwards... it's like they don't want you to know it happened.

I've seen a similar convoy doing something as simple as transporting Normie Kwong (in his role as LT governor) to official functions.

Wow - totally a waste, I've given one of the miniters an escort to the airport for free with my smelly hockey bag in the car.

Then I think the police escort would be fine. I am sure it was paid for by the US government anyway.
